Why doesnt a reporter or major news organization just ask the president and/or his staff if that was true and what did they do in order to protect our people there? Better yet, ask why wasn't security beefed up during 9/11 at all our US consulets and embasies around the world? And why can't I find an article on this CNN website to find out more information about Pres. Obama's video statement that he believes in REDISTRIBUTION? Anderson, you're amazing, lets 'keep the president honest'! As an independent voter, I'd really like be informed of this type of information....WTF?

The White House's bumbling and attempts at "spin" in the Media regarding the attacks in Libya are an outrage. It can be described as nothing less then blatant lies to protect the President's hopes for reelection. The administration simultaneously, put innocent people involved in that internet video in danger to deflect blame away from themselves and shows how ignorant they believe Americans to be. But then so did the sniveling lapdog media. Media happily parrots the administration's line that the ambassador and three others are murdered during a spontaneous protest of an internet video. REALLY, coincidentally on 9/11 muslim protesters toting RPG's rally outside an American Consulate? Adding insult to injury, the media goes on a mob hunt for Romney's head over a 60 second comment that ends up being the White House's position after hours of internationally observed bumbling. I looooong for the days when Repub. or Dem. they were scared straight by real journalists!

I think if we yank all foreign aid to all the countries who are protesting & chanting death to America, those funds will help provide social programs for this country.

I think there are a number of factors we have to consider. If there was a warning, was it from a creditable source and is it verifiable. Normally, security services has to confirm a valid threat before they react. With all the cutbacks in military forces, we are stretched very thin around the world and verifying the validity of a threat before sending additional security forces has become a major concern and necessary to prevent loss of security protection at other locations.
