Ryan has campaigned that he intends to protect the Medicare trust fund from the removal of $716 billion for the President's Obamacare funding. Obama responds "Oh, no, you see it's not going to cost Medicare one dime because that money was all "waste, fraud, and abuse". Oh, it was just sitting around under a mattress serving no purpose, huh? So you thought you'd take it?

Well, if the President is so very adept at identifying chunks of the budget which don't do any worldly good,.... how, pray tell, did he get us snookered into Solyndra for $500 million? Would you trust his financial acumen with the $716 billion that it's removal will IN NO WAY affect the standard of care under the popular medicare advantage plan, even though the Congressional Budget Office says it will result in large numbers of physicians ceasing to serve Medicare beneficiaries? As Joan Rivers would say, "Grow up, people!"

I loved Joe Johns' report. I wish Pres. Obama and Ryan were going to debate. I think Romney should be concerned that Ryan is going to outshine him. Romney seems tired and old next to Ryan. Some people will vote for Romney because of Ryan's abilities but they should remember that Romney would be their president and he is no shining star. It is sad when a presidential candidate needs to rely on his VP.

Soledad, you do an excellent job filling in for Anderson. Last night's show was one of the best I have watched. I expect to hear your name announced for an Emmy nomination; it would be well deserved.
