Beyoncé sets example for World Humanitarian Day

Beyoncé is teaming with the United Nations to raise awareness about World Humanitarian Day and encourage people around the world to help their communities. Anderson Cooper spoke with the singer and U.N. under-secretary-general and emergency relief coordinator Valerie Amos.

    i believe this is only coming about since Harry belfonte called them out. GIVE MONEY!!!! These people need money or write a song and every dime from the song goes to charity not a percentage but every single dime!

    The Beyonce interview: why didn't you ask her what she did with the $1 million she made performing for Kaddafi?
    I heard that Nelly Furtado donated the money. I didn't hear that Beyonce did the same.
    What about the $2 million Buagtti she bought JayZ for his birthday.
    Beyonce is no humanitarian. so now and then she performs for some charity. big deal. she wants the regular folk to contribute while she and Jayz live in the lap of luxury.
