Scientology is just another crazy cult to me.....coercion, threats, fear and guilt mongering all on members who decide to leave the cult. Very similar to the Jehovah's Witnesses......

Scientology is not a spiritual or religious organization. It is a science fiction based racket, of no higher standing than any other organized crime 'family'. It is time for a full federal investigation of the inner circle, revocation of their tax-free status, and prosecution for fraud of those who have been profiting on the gullibility and emotional desperation of is victims.
How many "churches" will put a rattlesnake in the mailbox of a former member who tries to tell the truth about them? There was an excellent "South Park" episode that showed the actual "beliefs" of scientology. But those who have managed to get loose are afraid to speak what they know, because scientolgists are quite willing to kill to protect themselves.

I'm an atheist, but I'm bemused by the irrational fear directed at Scientology. It has a bland and harmless history compared to the major monotheistic religions. Much of the antipathy directed toward Scientology is due to its opposition to coercive psychiatric practices. Power doesn't like to be challenged
