It doesn't matter if all the facts a perfectly correct! The matter at hand is that any HOA would have a problem with this. Some HOA's are out of control. Permanent basketball hoops are not allowed in some and portables at others. Neighborhoods are for children so maybe if you have a problem with such things, move to a condo or better yet a senior citizens area!!!
Your facts are wrong, this is one sub HOA in the Neighborhood of Stapleton in Denver. There are over 7000 homes in Stapleton and this sub HOA represents less than 100 homes. The community as a whole is completely against this ban. Fact check yourselves next time!!! Sloppy journalism!!! The facts are one small HOA management company without consulting its Homeowners is trying to ban chalk art, which will not happen as the Homeowners have already organized against it. The Master HOA which represents all homes in Stapleton has already put out a statement against the ban.
This is typical Colorado. I have lived in several states and Colorado is the most bureaucratic state I know.
You can be arrested for collecting rain water. It's an old law but still viable.
You needed to emphasis the name of the city more. You mentioned Stapleton CO in the beginning – and I
caught it, but if you were to reiterate it more, the town would probably be embarassed enough to drop
the issue – or chip in with a bucket of water to clean the little girl's slate from time to time ... so she could continue
to do no harm.
