Millions raised for the disabled veterans national foundation. Not one dime  though  has gone directly to vets. Now a Senate committee is investigating after seeing our Keeping Them Honest reports.

This is not the only organization and many have short cuts. Operation Family Fund"MIKE" only responds by email and voicemail box is filled requests that va emails him confirmation of disability rating when they are not able to because emailing is not secure. I had my social worker fax over the information and we never got another email or anything again. This has been going on for one month. Hope for the warriors a whole different topic.
There are some non profits that raise so much money however one in particular is the Fallen Patriot Fund you have to be over 75% disabled to get help thru them. Some only help if you have a purple heart but raise hundreds of thousands. Do you know how many people actually get a purple heart not very many. Somebody really needs to crackdown on these " non profits'. There are some that are excellent like coalition to salute america's heroes, impact players, penfed, operation first response all these are very helpful and great non profits.

A major point about this that nobody is talking about is the fact that that woman who is the Vice President of that Organization is also the current "Deputy Director of The Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs". When asked that Department does not see any conflict....

The DVNF what a Scam $56 million and no Disabled Veteran has recieved a "DIME"!! I'd call DVNF "SCAM ARTIST" who should be prosecuted Criminally and civily!! Percillia Wilkawits seems be the spoksman for DVNF didn't have mutch to say!! I think the feds need to go knocking on her door and say "Hello"!! She needs to hang her head in shame for treating veterans in this way they kept her safe while she and whoever else is envolved sits on their behinds and pulls this dirty scam!!

If CNN has known something about this for two years, why the hell didn't they find a way to present what info they had and encourage people to contact one of the charity watch organizations much earlier. Surely they at least had the percentage of donations spent on administrative expenses. Perhaps that could have been enough for someone wanting to make a donation to disabled American veterans to find a legitimate organization. How many millions of dollars might CNN have diverted away from the DVNF if they had not waited two years to go public with this story. I think CNN needs to at least investigate this internally to see if their silence contributed to $56 million dollars being lost to an incredibly underfunded and underprepared military response to the many problems of returning vets.

This sham of an organization i am sure will be traced to a fundamentalist religeous or white supremicist organization. Will be ineresting to how much this criminal organization will be tied to the tea party.
