Obama campaign spokesman Ben Labolt says criticism of Mitt Romney's work at Bain Capital is justified.
I think that it is a disservice for those who are supposed to inform the public to validate these irrational untrue statements that the President is attacking private equity. No its not PE that is the issue, it is Mitt and his job creating years at Bain PE. He touts it so we need to know to about it. For CNN to allow the false distraction of attacking PE gets off the point. He says he created jobs and that the Bain years are the reason he should be elected. Lets take a look at it. On the table out in the open. Find me a good reporter or two to tell the real Bain Romney story
you just don't get it Anderson, its ok to do that for a living but not to run the country, its ok to get money from a guy that does that for a living, that guy isn't runnung for President
Mr. Cooper: The talk should be specifically about Romney's decisions only during the time he headed Bain. Not about equity firms, and their history. Romney's specific decisions, net jobs created or lost under Romney. Romney's performance only! Also, can the country deal with both Romney's lack of compassion to the work force, and cuts in welfare and food stamps. How can we continue to eliminate and outsource jobs because that's what corporations want, AND cut welfare and other assistance programs? Thank you.
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.
