Anderson, I am disappointed that you are fanning the flames on this issue. You seem to be trying to confirm the idea that people are not able to be rehabilitated. Those guys who were pardoned were screened by many boards for years and weren't just some random murderers. Why There are plenty of heartless career criminals out there, so why are you trying to undermine the idea that a single crime of passion can, in some cases, can be committed by an otherwise lawabiding person? , US has too many folks in prison. You are not one of them, but I'm sick of all those "religious" folks owho care more about an embrio frozen in a lab somewhere than these living, breathing men. There are so few pardons and stories of forgiveness – why did you have to take this point of view in your coverage?

Barbour is a GOP member with the mentality that he is king of kings. I don't like him & Never Have. He has misused money from Katrina funding to help the poor and needy.
I can understand NonViolent Criminals getting clemacy but Murders? come on now. Is this because Barbour is use to the minds of those who committ crimes against others enough that he feels he is the Judge, Jurior, and parole board and having the last say?
Thank you Jim Hood for protecting us innocent victims families and the people of the State of Mississippi.
Without Jim Hood just think how out of control this situation could be?
Infact a Murder is just that a Murderer, that in itself is self explanatory to never release them before their sentence is completed. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
Get these people back in prison who need to be there due to their Violent Crimes!
Why do nonviolent members get to be trustees? The Prison Warden should have some say. Nonn Violent criminals need rehab for drug abuse, but leave the murderers alone to rot in their cells.
