AC and Dr. Gupta need to start digging into Merck, the HPV vaccine and Rick Perry. Merck went on a campaign when this vaccine came out trying to get all of the states to make it mandatory along with the other school-required vaccines. Rick Perry received 30K from Merck or at least that is what he disclosed. The drug companies have been buying off politicians for way too long. There is no way that either Rick Perry or Merck were acting purely out of concern for the health of millions of young girls. This smells dirty and CNN has the responsibility to blow it up to expose the truth. HPV is a serious illness but it does not fall into the same category of illness that causes widespread pandemics and death such as small pox or measels.

Anderson, watched the HPV video. There is a larger point to be made here in favor of vaccinating. Once a female has the virus she passes it on through sexual contact, so while she may not ever get cervical cancer her sexual partners may. My husband was diagnosed with HPV throat cancer in Feb. 2008. It ruined both of our lives. He has recovered but will never be the same. HPV throat cancer is contracted through oral sex. Throat cancer is one of the cancers that is increasing rapidly. There is a story here that people need to know. It causes more than throat cancer, please consider taking a look at this as a story idea.
