What lessons were not learned from 9/11?

Anderson Cooper finds out that many NYC first responders still lack improved communications tools 10 years after 9/11.

Thankyou for highlighting this communications issue.

But it is totally inadequate to note that certain members of congress are unwilling to allocate frequencies emergency response in favor of auctioning off those assets – you KNOW the names of those Senators/Representatives; you have an obligation to provide those names. Tell us WHO is blocking commonsense – how else can your readers/listeners follow through with calls and letters to bring pressure on congressmen who seem to forget who elected them

FEMA put into law what is called National Incident Management System. It was put there so all first responders could communicate with each other. was this a lie or what. the goverment needs to get its act together.
