This is AMERICA right? I cannot understand why the CNN crew were told to leave a morgue site. Reporters have the right of way? I am in shock watching from Canada, it seems every time there is a Major problem in USA, they cannot control it and the people are treated like second class citizens.
I now understand why peoiple in America ask for the right to "bare arms is it? because if my wee boy was in a morgue and they wanted me to stand down and wait 2 weeks to veiw the dead, I am sorry but NO WAY.
As big a loss this is to the people involved, can you imagine millions of people in a crisis.Who could help and where would you get help? Scary stuff.

AS a 32 year veteran firefighter I can tell you why family members and the media is not allowed to identify remains because in these cases most bodies are tagged RNV wich means REMAINS NON – VIEWABLE. Believ e me , family members and the general public do not want to see them in this condition. DNA testing is the best method of identification to give no doubt of identity, and spare family the gruesome visions they should be spared from. The trauma they suffer is bad enough to end carreers for first responders let alone the public that has had no training or counseling.

Her home was at 26th and Murphy, across from St. John's hospital. Her family has not heard of her whereabouts and we do not know her condition or whether she survived. There have been so many rumors about her status, can you help us? She is 4 1/2 months pregnant. I have many recent pictures of her that i can send! Please help! thank you in advance!
