Amazon Backlash: Join the Live Chat

Tonight, peddling pedophilia. The nations largest online retailer, amazon.com is slowly take down more disgusting material for sale on its site. Not just books, but videos as well. Why is it taking them so long?
And how did this stuff get on their site in the first place? We're keeping them honest. Plus, tonight's other headlines.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

@Nancy: i believe that animals are our teachers and healers. Everyday, science finds out more and more about the talents of animals.

You know, these performers today are too uncouth. They have no grace, no professionalism, no class.

    @Paula, Colorado – yes, I noticed too!
We are buying everything on sale this year, and early. No waiting for last minute this year. My hubby calls it my one-person economic stimulus program. LOL 🙂

Zara Baker's step-mother has been arrested?
that's very tragic. She looked like a happy, young girl. I hope her killer is brought to justice.

What a great show with " real " news. I think 360 is the only news program left on TV that has real news any more. Well, thank God for AC.
Sweet dreams all! Speaking of, may all your dreams come true! 🙂

Kane West: He goes on national TV to apologize. Then claims he's was insulted by the who again? Then puts up tweet laced with Southern humor and familiarity...did I mention he's from NYC.

I'm so glad to see he's back to his old self. After all Kane is the enigma I never get enough of.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

I hope FBI and John Walsh together succeed many fold to bringing an end to sex-tourism/sex-trafficking and all kinds of crimes. I hope the Internet becomes a tool for good. May good win over all evil.
Thank you John Walsh. Many blessings.

John Walsh has devoted his whole life to all of this. Bless him and all his efforts and he has been responsible for so much awareness and prevention. The child sex trafficking just boggles my mind. The U. S. should take a leadership role in combatting this abuse.

God bless Mr. Walsh and the work that he does.
His success rate is outstanding. I hope he will carry on and that many others will join him in the work he does.
Thank you Anderson for having him on and showing what is going on overseas!

    Hats off to John Walsh.
He has turned his anguish to CONSTRUCTIVE causes for the good of the society.

Can't believe the scope of the victimization of children. I have never thought of this.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:47 pm |
  28. BettyAnn, Nacogdoches,TX

This topic is sick. I can not believe children are tortured like that. I can think of a stiff punishment for those child predators. yep, that's it.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:46 pm |
  29. Samantha Rowley - Nashville, TN

Love the interviews with John Walsh this week. What a champion he is for finding justice. You're right Anderson, child trafficking is much more a problem across the world and yes, much more sinister and evil.

  30. Sue from Syracuse

@Nancy in Oregon – Totally agree.
National Geographic coverage of Alaska (without special interest intrusion to peddle their interests and make excuses for their and their children's pasts...) would be really nice to see.
And, yes, I have always wanted to go to Alaska IN SUMMER! LOL

    November 12, 2010 at 10:46 pm |
  31. Karoline, Los Angeles

John Walsh has done so much good.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:45 pm |
  32. Nancy in Oregon

Of course it does, Karoline. A documentary about Alaska ( a la National Geo.) would be wonderful. I have always wanted to be there to see it in person (not a la Palin though!)

Hats off to John Walsh. He deserves to be commended for his lifetime of work. Thank you John Walsh.

@Kelly, PA, Totally agree! SNL's cast of characters can smile all the way to the bank for 2 years... OR MORE! uh-oh

    November 12, 2010 at 10:43 pm |
  36. Karoline, Los Angeles

I've always wanted to visit Alaska too. It does look gorgeous.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:42 pm |
  37. Nancy in Oregon

We do, Emily. Or I do, anyway-I expect much more of politicians...though wrongly so, it seems. I would hope that our elected officials would work on our troubles and challenges. Instead, the 'politics' seem to take over. Our problems are ignored. All I can really do is try not to replicate that pattern in my own life and work.

Sarah Palin running for president could be the best thing for Democrats and Saturday Night Live

  41. Sue from Syracuse

@Jay, I like your way of thinking! NICE! 🙂

    November 12, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
  42. Samantha Rowley - Nashville, TN

What are they calling Sarah Palin...Kingmaster? You cannot deny her influence on some of the elections last week. However, agree with Alex that she won't run for office. What a weird comparison...Sarah Palin and Kim Kardashian?!?

    November 12, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
  43. Jacqueline, NY

    You guys are too funny!

    November 12, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
  44. Sharon Hastings

I'm so afraid the media is going to make Sarah some kind of folk hero if she isn't already "the little woman from Alaska who took on the mainstream media, blah blah blah" (that's how her supporters see her). She took the money and ran. That's the only running she's doing.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
  45. Sue from Syracuse

Well, her INFLUENCE has not been positive.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
  46. Starr, formerly known as vincent

    @Mike NH
I agree with you about Palin, but as the panel just said, she is a tremdous fund raiser and king/queen maker.
I think she will never run for President.

    November 12, 2010 at 10:38 pm |
  47. Megan Dresslar - Shoreline, WA

I will not vote Sarah Palin for candidate president 2012.

Dont hate Sarah Palin; use her!

    November 12, 2010 at 10:38 pm |
  49. Emily

Sarah Palin is Not going to run for President!
I didn't know that she had this reality TV show, however, now that I see that, and the fact that she quit her job as Governor...

  50. Nancy in Oregon

Well, Karoline, because her definition is very specific to herself.
