People are all up in arms – furious – outrageous with AMAZON.COM for selling this offensive book on sexual abuse of children – child molestation – taken the child-hood away from a young victim -a book on child abuse manual Will Iam a Mother and I hear every one of you,I can't tell you on line what I would do to Man or Women that would ever touch my child or grand child. All I will say is that they would never touch a child again.EVER BUT NOW WAIT -- LETS take a few steps back who helped Philip Greaves publish his book,he needed support for these books (RIGHT) AUTHER - NO anybody that would write books on how to abuse a child is EVIL not SICK as so many people keep saying and thats is how and why MAN or Women that use child as sex toys are just plan EVIL. There is NO JUSTIFICATION for the DAMAGE or FEAR that a young child lives and carries for the rest of thier lifes by the hands of an ADULT. Its time that our LAWS be change, you touch a child YOU die that's it – that's all.Once a child molester always a child molester.

    Dear Robert,

I cannot believe you just posted that. This is beyond atheism. Sitting by and promoting child abuse is not within our rights as human beings. Legal or not I do not care. THis has got me steamed!! People need to open there eyes. We need to stand up for the rights of all children.

    Mr. Anderson,

This is beyond disgusting. This has to stop these pedophiles belong in jail. They have not a right to have books being sold through amazon. This is beyond rediculous. Wake up Amazon. Wake up America.

I think IT IS TIME for people in the legal profession to make pedophiles PAY! Why do murderers and rapists get death sentences, yet those who abduct, rape and kill innocent, helpless undeniably unable to defend them selves get life with no parole or death sentence AUTOMATICALLY. When is the psychology field and the legal defenders of these poor victims going to actually STAND UP AND FIGHT LIKE WE DID FOR WOMEN, BLACKS AND any other minority? Amazon if off, but who is the publisher????? Who are the ones that decided to print this book, who turn down thousands of others... I will in my lifetime make a difference to make all this HAPPEN!

Has anyone thought about what company published this pedophile book?

The book should remain on the shelves and on Kindle. Freedom of speech. I do not condone the book or the content of the book which I have not read nor will read but I do read many books on athiesm which would have been outlawed not too long in the past and I do not see a problem having this book on the shelves from a legal standpoint.

The program outing Amazon for peddling Pedophilia was really good – Thumbs up Anderson and CNN. As a parent and Amazon customer, I was absolutely furious. Amazon should be forced to make a public statement – appologizing for even entertaining the sale of this offensive material

  9. Why?

What doesn't make sense, is someone actually writing a piece of garbage like this, which basically condones and teaches how to hurt children without suffering consequences.

And why Amazon would sell it is beyond me. In doing that, they supported this book and all that it stood for.

Unbelievable, and you want to talk about being angry, as a mother of one child and once a victim of child molestation myself, I am furious.

I find it shocking that the same company that fires its employees for the most minor of rules infractions would then agree to publish a book that openly advocates breaking the laws against preying on our children. That they did it so close to the holiday season seems like about the dumbest business move they could make. Parents should boycott Amazon for the rest of the holiday shopping season to teach them a lesson about not catering to those who would prey on our children and remind them that the parents are a far bigger market share than the ppredators are.

Now that we've gotten rid of this book, there are several others we need to work on: Tucker Max's I hope they serve Beer in Hell is very sexist and offensive, this need to be removed as does any book promoting drug use. The Color Purple is very bad and should be banned as well because it promotes underaghe sex.

I emailed Amazon after watching this report and advised them I was closing my account. They informed me the book had been pulled but I have yet to confirm that because I refuse to use the search engine to look up such garbage. Free speech or not, shame on Amazon!!!!

Are you kiddin me... I can't even believe that this got published?? The creators of this book and everyone that helps in the creation of it should be charged or at little investigated and the obvious thing to do is pull this book immediately...

I just can't believe it... Is this real or a joke?

I cannot believe Amazon would profit from literature on how to 'nicely' abuse children.
Hiding behind free speech is unacceptable. This is a child abuse manual. There is no justification for the damage certainly already contributed to on young abused child victims.
Their abuse and terror and torture is absoluetly on Amazons shoulders for advocating such sludge.Closed my account with them.

as much as I am thrilled to know amazon did finally pull this book, there are others on their site with tips for the very same thing. Amazon needs to remove ALL pedophile books! please keep the voices out there until all this content is removed.

I hope amazon.com goes bankrupt over their egregious promotion of a pedophiles guide as to how to sexually abuse an innocent child, and further how to receive lighter sentences, and for pedophiles "to be seen in a better light". The clinical data is that pedophiles repeat and repeat and repeat sexually abusing children. I am a clinical psychologist, and I know having worked with sexually abused children and pedophiles for many years

As a 'survivor' of child molestation, a mother of 6 children, and a grandmother of five, I find myself HUGELY appalled at such a book: an instruction book for how to rape and abuse children and not get caught. It is both disgusting and revolting that ANY place would carry such slimy trash. In recent years I have made MANY purchases from amazon.com. NOT ANY MORE! I looked up item on line just an hour ago and amazon.com popped up with it. My eyes quickly averted to the other sources. I will not spend ONE dollar on anything from amazon.com. The fact that there have been over a hundred purchases of this book is also revolting to me. Perhaps these buyers should be watched and followed for their behavior after they have been tutored by this book and its creepy author. As an aside: I DO NOT FEEL THAT IT WEIGHS UPON ME TO "UNDERSTAND" A PEDOPHILE'S URGES OR PROBLEMS. I DON'T CARE TO UNDERSTAND HOW HE "FEELS" AND THAT HE FEELS LIKE A VICTIM BECAUSE THE WORLD DOESN'T EMBRACE HIS UGLY, DISGUSTING CONDUCT. There is a scripture in the Bible about "those who offend My little ones". Perhaps pedophiles should spend time looking at the Bible instead of their sick child porn.

I will never again but ANYTHING from amazon.com. The only reason they removed the "Pedophiles Guide to Love and Pleasure" is because of amazon's fear of loss of revenue, not because a) it shouldn't have been there in the first place; b) it is illegal to sexually abuse a child in any form; and c) apparently they feel pornography isn't as damaging as killing a child's soul, and the scars a child victim carries with them the rest of their lives, having been sexually abused. Apparently, amazon supports pedophilia by having a guide on how they can have lighter sentences, and that it is according, to the author of this outrageous book , alright to kiss and fondle a child. All of which is ILLEGAL.

I hope the CNN report I saw yesterday about the listing of the book pedophiles for love and pleasure was false. I can't imagine Amazon is that desperate to make a few dollars on such a hideous offering. Aren't they in fact promoting pedophilia?
It is in poor judement and taste to even consider a title of this demeaner. I have learned in my life time that big companies make big mistakes and this is surely one of those. How about BP? I would not ever consider another purchase through Amazon if they continue offering such products in bad taste.

What about the other books promoting pedophilia that Amazon sells? Titles include "Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers", "Toward a Perspective on Boylovers", and "Beyond Hysteria: Boy Erotica on the Internet?"

I'm just as outraged about those as well.

    Stay on this story, CNN.
