Thank you, Anderson for not hiding bully behavior. One constant is dishonesty. Much bullying may be an exagerration of a person's true self but much bullying is simply a lie used to harm someone else. Adults bully every time they say or post negatives about others with the goal of increasing their own image in the eyes of others. Much of it is fear of the 'different' people. My son still is reclusive at age 27 because of life long bully behavior by children, parents and teachers. It's simply an ethical wrong with lifelong repercussions the bullier may or may not realise. Everyone would be safer if people would simply learn that differences are not to be feared and that liars do harm others perhaps for a lifetime. Temporary pleasure at the expense of others is never the right thing.

The anti-bullying programs must start in the White House. The same White House that treats select minority groups as second class citizens and promotes the idea that the bully mentality is okay. As I cast my vote in this election cycle it will include this thought and be driven by the idea that change comes from the bottom not the top, thus my votes will be a show of disapproval for all that our leadership has done and fails to do. We lack any true leadership in Washington and this is a sign of that reality.

I'm not gay but I am a Christian and the God I know say to love one another. What I see today is the opposite, hating one another and then saying I'm a Christian. We all need to search our hearts, pray and ask God for forgiveness and now wait until it's too late.

Thanks for such a great show on such an important topic. Ellen's message was one I wish all the young boys who have killed themselves after being targeted by their peers for their perceived or actual sexual orientation had been able to hear. She is saving lives one kid at a time. We ignore bullying at our children's peril. The majority of bullying that goes on in middle school, high school, and university is sexual in nature (racial/ethnic is second). I do wish you would use your phenomenal investigative skills to get at who has been funding these various groups who are targeting school districts across the country to remove their anti-bullying programs. These groups cloak their intolerance, bigotry, and hatred in the garb of religion and get away with it. When two woman took up "the crusade" to get the anti-bullying program pulled from the London, Ontario school district after Joshua Melo hanged himself, they were finally forced to reveal that it was the Family Research Council in the US who was secretly funding their attack. That was in April 2004...the groups have only grown more powerful, more cunning, and more stealth.
