Monday, Anderson Cooper will talk to witnesses in Syria about the ongoing violence and destruction, plus the latest in the Jerry Sandusky abuse case. Watch AC360° at 8 and 10 p.m. ET.
You're right on the money, Heather– I like your comments. And thanks, Mr Cooper; Haiti will be forever grateful. Thanks for 'keeping them honest.' I'll see you tonight!
Thank you so much for this interview. Former President Clinton did a fabulous job of providing very realistic, extremely fair, nonjudgemental answers to concerns that a lot of people have. I was especially thrilled to see Anderson ask him about the 'Customs' situation. I have been volunteering with a number of groups for whom the 20% tax has posed a significant problem. That said, they have so few options available to them for generating revenue. We often forget that Haiti is a country that has not only been repeatedly 'raped' by its own government and people, but has been victimized extensively by other nations as well. That there might be a number of deeply rooted trust issues at play here, is something that we should come to expect as well.
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.
