Anderson Cooper | BIO
The mass mentality, the knee jerk reaction, to allegations of child abuse is almost as bad as the abuse itself; the need to cover this sin up at any cost resonates deeply within my soul. For some reason this ¨topic¨ brings about an almost barberic reaction against the victim and all I can say is, Shame on you.
The church should confess that it is human and ask for forgiveness, The Pope should not lie to its people, Jesus would not cover-up and lie, May God help the Pope make the right choices as we look for the church for guidance. Please Jesus Help us with this crisis in the church.
The catholic bishops scandal should be taken very seriously because they are crimes. They must be charged and tried according to the law.
Very good choice of interview subject. Thanks for thinking outside the box on this one. O'Connor has been bringing up church abuses for many years and is quite articulate, as you can see.
This was an excellent interview, Anderson. Sinead O'Connor boldly stated what many Catholics are feeling. For a woman once denigrated as being outrageous, she presented her case with subtle eloquence. If the Church, and in particular the Vatican, does not assume their accountability for these molestations, there will continue to be those who are Catholics in their hearts but do not accept the practices of a church unsanctified. It will be the second fall of Rome, much as the fall of the Roman Empire.
There is child abuse in every corner of the world ,in every religion.in every school ,etc,,nothing is done ,till the abuseres get caught. Then oh dear I am so sorry. God is watching us..Same as spousal abuse, drugs abuse ,gambling abuse ruins lives as well. Let us pray the next generation of authorities have a concience and a heart .Return to your church.,allow the Holy Spirit to quide you to the right path.As we all know the right path .,starting taking this path now ,today .and oh ,God Bless,
