    Hi,
I have more of a question than a comment. I own a 2007 Camry which is on the recall list for both the floor mats and acceleration, however I still have not received any notification from Toyota. I checked with my local Toyota dealer about bringing the car in for service. They tell me I have to wait for notification, when you try to contact Toyota all you receive is a recorded message. Can you tell me if or when Toyota will be sending these out. I have a 3 yr.old grandson and a 1month old grandson that I am afraid to put into what I thought was supposed to be the safest car on the road.
    Thanks

If VIN begins with the letter "J", it is not affected in the recall. Has anyone spoken about this? Namely the government motors mob that is hell bent on destruction of a competitor. The letter "J" in the VIN means that the vehicle was assembled in Japan. Is there a link between US assembled vehicles and the noted defects? Was it an inside saboteur? Did the US autoworkers union plant some evil auto engineers at Toyota? Maybe some engineers that used to design Pintos, Vegas, Pacers, Chevettes, and Darts are working at Toyota now? I think there may be a direct link in poor quality of the US assembled vehicles of any brand. My Toyota VIN begins with the letter "J", and I knew it before I purchased it 6 years ago.

No, my car isn't on the list. I own an American make, I own a Chevy, which gave Americans a job and is keeping them employed!!!!!!!!! That helps the economy that I'm part of. With that I did my part to keep my neighbors employed, so my house could keep its value since that way they don't default on their mortgages. etc etc etc.
