Sound Off: Your comments 1/7/10

Editor's Note: Afterlast night's AC360°, we received comments on airport security. Some of you believe that a “fly list” could speed things up for those that are known NOT to be a terrorist. Viewers are asking for an in depth segment on “why” terrorists become terrorists.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Why not create a "fly list". Creating a list of reproachable citizens to move quickly through Airports. Allowing more time to be spent on those who have not be able to qualify for a bypass of security set to catch terrorists. Terrorists can hide in the masses that have to get screened every day. I think elected officials, & people who have flown without incident, 10 times in the preceding year should be a good start to a secure list. I'll keep this short, you keep them honest

Keep up the good work on applying pressure on what the TSA is NOT doing, and the waste of paying for machines that won't help us either. Israel should be a guideline for us on what actually works.

I really like your question shooting in the program. One thing the news has never come across about the terrorist is why do they do it , what do they really want and how did it really start? We have talked about the current events but have we forgotten about the past? Would be phenomenal if you could educate us on your show? I am sure that many students and young new generation want to know about terrorist in depth.

Report on the whale resarch ship accident was one sided story. Uncharacteristic to your show. Who hit whom was not clear in your report.

I do not like they are chatching whales, but isn’t the limited chatch for resrach allowed by the international agreement? Put feeling to whales aside, who is violated the law on international water?

At least I wanted to watch the video taken by the Japanese ship before accident happned.

Though many may be interested in terrorists' motivations, there are just as many who don't care about their background or what made them terrorists. They are evil. What's fascinating is hearing about the CIA intelligence, procedures, and security behind thwarting them, catching them, trying them in court and taking them out. Hearing from actual operatives and judicial people handling the cases. There's an air of artificiality to AC360 because the show needs to really go out in the field and bring us the real news as it happens. Then the show will be exciting. Reporters and commentators have just been talking to one another about old developments, like in Meet the Press. Patching a show together but it's not the real thing.

    Hi Anderson,
Pls i'll like to know why Nigeria is being labeled a terrorist country when this boy joined this groiup in London and had a contact with one of the leaders of al queda in yemen so how does Nigeria come into the picture?. the american security agent had information that they didn't use at all. so my point is that Nigeria should not mentioned at all in this whole mess and should not be labellled as a terrorist country.
    Thanks.
