There is definitely no doubt that the Catholic church paid off this woman to keep her quiet so that they could save face. Glad that she broke that silence and is now telling her story. I wish her and her son well.

Can't wait to see the full report tonight.

Okay perhaps I am missing something but this woman appears to be intelligent, well spoken etc. Not to excuse what happened on the churches part but if you want to bring in accountability doesn't that include both sides? The church and herself? The church may have presented the agreement but she signed the it so doesn't she need to be held accountable for her actions as well????

Has the catholic church ever ask itself why it's membership has declined. The whole concept that an organized religion has in essense its own country and laws is a dark part of religion to be afraid of.

Why is this woman bringing all this out now??? For 22 years it was ok to take the churches money and be quiet, so what gives? Ok her son is very sick, but what does that have to do with what the church did? I think she has her own agenda and she needs to examine her morals before she throws stones.
