Editor's Note: We continue to receive many comments about the shooting at the Fort Hood Army Post.  And after Drew Griffin's piece on the radical group of Muslims preaching extremism on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, many of you thanked Anderson for the in depth reporting. What do you think? Let us know! We want to hear from you.

Not only is this a tragic event..But what really upsets me is that we (taxpayers) will pay for the killer’s trial and pay for his stay in prison however long that may be. This was a premeditated murder and this guy should be dead now instead of wasting tax payers’ money on this ruthless killer.

I am normally a fox news viewer, but happened to catch Anderson Cooper tonight, regarding the Hasan murders. I am deeply impressed with the quality of reporting I saw. Many facts were covered that other news sources have not reported. The most relevant people to the story were interviewed. The original investigative reporting was really eye opening. I will watch Anderson Cooper more in the future and recommend it others based on what I saw tonight.

I just watched the segment on the radical Muslims in NYC. Seeing this makes me sick and reminds me why I serve. I cannot believe that there are people living in our country who despise us so much, that they would wish harm against us. Had Hasan been shooting at him I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if the men and women who are in our armed forces saved his life. By giving him time on the air only helps promote his message. If you hate America so much than why are you still here?!

Exceptionally good journalism tonight, Anderson! Your coverage of this apparent terrorist attack by a Muslim extremist on innocent military personnel getting ready to give their lives for our Country...you did a better job of it than Fox News, which I also watch. Keep putting out real journalism such as this and I will watch you for the truth.

Mr. Cooper, as a Canadian military professional, the evidence about the gunmen reveals more and more that US soldiers did not miss the signs. Rather, it shows how tolerant and understanding the US military has become, to the point of accepting the disturbed opinions of the self radicalized individual.... Food for thought

Thank you for the in depth analysis of the Fort Hood terrorist. Your show was the only one on CNN that addressed his religious views and you did an outstanding job.

My husband has been deployed since August of 09' and I have been worried for him every day, naturally. Now, after the tragedy at Fort Hood, TX, I naturally worry more. Is it wrong for me to be worried about trusting the men and women he is with? If it is, I am wrong. As a military brat and one person in a huge military family, I cry as I say this, but I have worries about my husband’s immediate surroundings. Is one of them crazy? Do they think of doing this to my husband? I am sure I am not the only one. My prayers go out to the families of those at Fort Hood and for all military families around the world. God bless you all.

1st: Humor Heals=Thanks for including Dancing Inmates! 2nd: Thanks for NOT being PC and interviewing Radical Muslims in the USA & learning what they believe!

You have a great show. It really does give a balanced look at each news story. Drew Griffin's investigative reports have been fantastic. I hear people talking about issues I know they saw on your show. Keep up the good work.
