A California high school student who police said was gang raped in a two-and-a-half-hour assault outside a homecoming dance remained hospitalized in stable condition Monday, two days after she was flown from the attack scene in critical condition. Two suspects have been arrested in case and a third is being questioned. What leads to this type of violence among teenagers?
Steve Perry will be on to discuss this story tonight. Do you have a questions for him?

October 27th, 2009 1:53 pm ET Maybe they should postpone the elections so the people in Washignton would actually focus on doing something productive instead of beating each other up when we've got a 12T debt, massive deficit and a health care disaster. Either that or throw them all out and pick random people on the street who would bring some common sense to the process and represent real American people. |

October 27th, 2009 2:15 pm ET This is not a comment but a question. Is there any setting where a person can be denied to bring legal representation? Is it a constitutional violation to deny a US citizen to have legal representation during a meeting to decide his/her future? Exp. Peer review. |

October 27th, 2009 4:20 pm ET When I was in high school, all events had adult supervision. Where were the adults that were suppose to supervise this event? How could this many kids be involved in this without the adults becoming suspisious? |

October 27th, 2009 5:53 pm ET There seems to be a disturbing disconnect from empathy in our world. Echoing the above: Where were the teachers and/or chaperons? Further, it screams of a "Stop Snitching" attitude; which is appalling. It is still a felony to witness a felony and not report it. I hope with all my soul that everyone who watched or was in anyway involved in this child's torture is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. |
