Tonight, we're keeping them honest in Chicago. A student is beaten to death. It's caught on tape. But cops say no one is coming forward with tips. Why is this happening? Plus, a confession from a former prosecutor with ties to the Roman Polanski case.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.
Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

The shot: is absolutely astonishing. What a great story. This man i another Hero! And, a great interview too. I hope the little boy will recover without any physical or emotional damage. God bless this man.
Good Night Everyone! "Bells will be ringin'!"
Hooray! FOR Horia!!!!
what a great ending for a great show, Anderson!
What a "Shot" ...we need more people like Horia Cretan!
Great to hear you on the show tonight.
You are a REAL HERO!
Regarding Michael Jackson. 136 pounds is VERY slim (I know, I'm 50 &142 pounds). That isn't necessarily terribly healthy unless Michael Jackson was on some health training or program which doesn't seem apparent. At 136 pounds, that doesn't leave you well prepared to fend off any illness or unique health issue.
What a sad story, scary and impressive!
The CNN Heroes stories are such a great way to recognize people who contibute their time selflessly. Looking forward to the special next hour.
Goodnight everyone. Peace to all of you and yours.
That rescuer is so conscientious. He couldn't just drop the darn blanket that was about to trip both him and the child; no, no, he wanted to keep the kid's blanket. I'll bet that rescuer is a worrier.
Does anybody take the Iranian Nuclear threat seriously? They wouldn't be stupid enough to actually use one, and if they did the retaliations would reduce Iran to rubble.
Energy solutions are the key to humanity moving forward, and responsible use of nuclear energy is one solution.
The heroes never fail to amaze me – thanks to CNN for introducing us to these incredible individuals who are doing so much to bring some good to the world.
Rape is rape... if he was poor he would have already served his time or would be serving time.
polanski should go to jail a state pen.
Anderson, you're great!
