So sad it is. A young man that polished his talent, worked hard, but his own insecurites drew him toward sleeping and mind altering.
Happens too often with people of fame.

Michael Jackson had great talent and was a magent for concerts and mtv videos. His work will endure, and it should.

To the Jackson Family,
I can only imagine the pain and grief you must be feeling at this time and over the recent passing of your beloved son, brother ,friend and to us the fans the greatest entertainer the world has ever known.....In this time of your grieving i offer my comforting words and silent prayers to all of us Michael was and always will be remember for his unique impact he had on the world not only through his music but through the books which he wrote.
Michaels compassion and love will forever live on in our hearts he might be dead physically but he is very much alive in our hearts and will always be remembered and loved. The world has lost one of the greatest icons of our time but this is not the end for him he has gone on to a better place to continue his eternal rest.
The lord needed a compassionate, understanding angel so he chose michael although it was hard to lose him he's in a much better place away from any allegations and any one that could of contributed a great deal of pain on his life.

Love & Comfort,
A True MJ Fan Jessica.

Two months later i still cant stop crying, i am crying while writing this message. i can not believe such a beautiful man had to go through so much trauma and sadness in his short life. if someone as good as michael has been so misjudged what chance do any of us have.

I love you and god be with you, my beautiful michael, Rest in Peace. wish i could visit your resting place, i think this would help me accept you not being in this world anymore, but be assured my thoughts are with you all day, every day. I play your music everyday whenever i can.

I am truly going to miss MJ. His music helped me through some difficult times in my life, and I cherish the gift he was able to give us while on this earth. All entertainers should take this day to celebrate their fallen comrade, as he was truly an entertainer that gave so many happiness with his gift. I will always carry him in my heart and my Ipod for ever and ever. God Bless his family and his children.

celia   September 3rd, 2009 4:44 pm ET

You were gone too soon! So sad my daughter was not able to see you perform live, like when I went ot see you at the Azteca Stadium in 1993 in Mexico City. Now, she has joined me as a fan, love your music, videos and everything that has to do with you. I'm too sad for all that you had to endure in order to give all of us your very best. Your music, talent, everything will be here for generations. You will be the only and trully KING of pop. Now FINALLY!!!, you are at a place that nobody will label you as a freak. You are with the real King, God. May God bless your kids and be always with them.

Cheryl   September 3rd, 2009 5:18 pm ET

layla   September 3rd, 2009 6:17 pm ET

Cooper – you have become a joke. What is wrong with you?
For the past 2 weeks, all you've been covering is MJ' death for at least half your program or talking about the 11 girl that was kidnapped, and now you're devoting your stupid hard-edged hour, yeah right, on illegal organ donors? What's wrong, trying to distract aren't you? Taking orders from higher-ups I see. CNN is now worse than MSNBC – at least they talk about a few hard issues.

You don't want to cover the health care debate, or the stupid war in Afganistan – and 2 nite you'll probably devote the entire hour to this internment of this guy that should have been buried weeks ago.
And the family is doing it in prime time to make sure it will be televised

Journalish is dead – I've lost all respect for you!

Anthony   September 3rd, 2009 6:19 pm ET

Praying that Michael will find the peace in death that eluded him in life. Michael was a legend, humanitarian, and a wonderfully gifted entertainer. There will never be another like him to walk this earth and he will be remembered forever. I will always be thankful for the joy that MJ brought to my life. RIP my friend...you are loved and missed.

Dean   September 3rd, 2009 6:21 pm ET

Over? It took ten years and the begging of an Archbishop for the world to finally get "over" Diana. Besides, for the next five years, people will be arguing about "which" Michael will go on the postage stamp.

Laetitia Meyo   September 3rd, 2009 6:23 pm ET

Bye! Michael. How can i forget you my bro? I am so sad that you left us. Who will keep us entertained. The way you did it no one can because you are the King of Pop. Rest in peace Michael I cant stop crying. I miss you so much already

MarianSVK   September 3rd, 2009 6:32 pm ET

MICHAEL...WE LOVE YOU MORE THEN EVER!
REST IN PEACE …
