I really can't understand why the media covers Mr. Cheney at all. We have put the past behind us, except for the fact that we are at war, still; we have a financial crisis not seen in decades, we had "untruths" told to us by this man and others...and his reactions to the statement that Americans were beginning to have doubts about the validity of the war was, "So......"

st night watching cnn i cought a little of ac360 where thay were having quite a lively debate on the question of the tourture that may or may not have happened at guantonamo bay and other detanie locations that the united states used durring and after the terriorist attacks and the war in Afganistan and Iraq specificly if using tourture was right or wrong, In my opinion using tourture against terriorist is solidly wrong specificly because in a war with the terriorist it is not a war against a specific goverment, there is no capital to take, no resources to keep the enemy from having, the enemy is not a monolitic country reather the enemy is ideals and those that follow those ideals I do not see how we can stand against an enemy who follows their own ideals (Currently the conversion or distruction of infadels) when we ourselves forsake our own ideals by using tourture we may be following the letter of our own laws (regrettably I am not a lawyer and do not fully understand all the laws) but we are ignoreing the spirit of those selfsame laws.

No I wouldn't. But that is not going to STOP terrorist from using. And I only hope Obama never has to make a decision, like that. but, if he does and people don't agree with his methods, should he be brought up on charges also? And I think when your POTUS, you have millions upon millions of people's lives in your hands, should you take the time to second guess yourself, or do what you feel is necessary at the time?

Does anybody remember those planes that were aimed and hit the world trade center, the pentagon. Watching those people jump to their deaths. Watching those buildings come crumbling down with people in them. Or Daniel Pearl beheaded, or that other american who was beheaded on tape for all to see by monsters who do not value human life. Do not give them human attributes or qualities. They are cancer and they must be destroyed and Cheney in this instance is right. Without national security any policy issues are irrevalent when you have no country.

Obama is setting a very dangerous precedent by going after a previous administration. Any administration in the future would be at risk for the same thing happening simply because of party politics.

The Bush administration is over. Move forward and move on and keep our country safe from terrorists. Counter terrorism isn't supposed to be kind. Would you rather we say "hey can we talk can we work this out?" They laugh at us. They train to kill.
The day we were attacked on Sept 11th, we became members of a club that nobody wants membership in. For decades we watched as other countries were attacked by terrorists and then it happened to us.

We are the biggest and best country on this planet. We have the best military on the planet. These terrorists must be stopped and we must do everything in our power to destroy all of them. What ever it takes. I may be a Democrat but I do miss Darth Cheney.

Did someone forget to tell Cheney that he was irrelevant to US politics now? That he had been voted out of office and that he should fold up his tent and go home?
