Why doesn’t the media (you) ask Congressman about the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program that is used by all Federal employees including staff members for Senators and Congressman,White House staff and all Federal agencies?
This program has been used for the last 50 or so years by our government ,paid for by taxes. In the last year they spent over 728,000 million tax dollars. I can’t afford health care but they use my taxes to cover themselves.
I find it very interesting that this situation never comes up in conversation with your so-called experts. It’s all there in black and white from the OMB budget fact sheet. They are very proud of the fact that they were able to sign up over 750,000 employees for their dental and vision care. They also state that the Office of Personnel Management was able to keep their premiums to just a 2% increase over the last 2 years.
I called Congressman Blunts office and asked his staff if they were happy with their health care. They liked the idea that they could cancel their policy if the insurance company raised their premiums and chose another one from the 12 options offered and the company that was increasing the premiums was taken off of the list by the government. Its a co-pay system with a choice of 20-80,30-70 or 50-50. If your retired and can’t afford the premiums then it’s free.
Why are we wasting our time and money writing a health care plan when there seems to be one already in place that has been working for both Republicans and Democrats.

What are you afraid of? Asked the questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dear Mr. Anderson,
I was listening to John King talking to Admiral Mike Mullen and Lt. Gen. Ken. Kar Eikenberry (Ret).U.S. Ambassador to Afganistan about the situation there which was worse. What Ambassador Eikenberry mentioned was that the OPIUM FIELDS OF AFGANISTAN production increased from 7% to 83 % (check figures) under President Karsai.
The Opium Fields of Afganistan finances the Taliban to a tune of $ 300 Million and also the Afgan Warlord who have private armies both of whom contribute to the instability of Afganiftan. It also supplies 60% of the Heroin on our streets.
So bring it to the attention of President Obama as it would be helpfull to our troops , I have been trying to do the same with our Canadian Leaders. We have to give the Afgan Government no choice but to destroy the Opium Fields of Afganistan and replace it with Fields of Grain. It will give a stable income to Afganistan and we will be able to bring our troops home quickly.
    Thank You,
    Edgar Rosario,
