Rumors are swirling that new Michael Jackson material could soon be released.

TMZ

We've just obtained the track for an unreleased song Michael Jackson recorded.

The song - "A Place with No Name" - sounds similar to the song "A Horse with No Name" released by the group America back in 1971. We're told several years ago America's manager gave his group's permission for Jackson to record the song, "A Place with No Name" - despite the similarity.

I think it would be great to hear new Michael Jackson songs. It might make it easier to deal with his death, though I doubt it.

Jesse Howard   July 16th, 2009 6:53 pm ET

It's a real tragic that a great entertainer is gone.

Chris Moore   July 16th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

Anderson,
Anything you suggest is a rumor, I would bet my life is actually a fact. You are tops!

Carissa   July 16th, 2009 7:29 pm ET

Marjorie Lominy   July 16th, 2009 7:38 pm ET

Man, these kids will be rich till the 20th generation....as long as they keep Shameless Joe Jackson away.

Wendy M   July 16th, 2009 7:46 pm ET

I like it... I hope they realize the potential audience out there...

Anthony Ching   July 16th, 2009 7:57 pm ET

I'd prefer America's "A Horse with No Name".
It's a classic rocker.

Please ask a dr or anasethia ologist.. people get addicted to being put undre.. and can be mentally alert while physcially out.. my lil girl was out from the age 7weeks to 4 yr and half so often she coudl tell us what was said in the OR before the dr. could .. it is common.. Michael Jackson may have felt he found a secret way to separate body and spirit.. and being creative may have used it for such.. but ask dr about it.. it is real... I have horrible pain and would love the versaid they give you to knock you out.. to be pain free.. is wonderful and that is theonly way.. but I am not willing to miss out on heaven.. or God.. but I understand him and his quest of it... my heart breaks for his children...i lost my parents and my child.. I would gladly have had God take me and leave him here.. BUT WHO HAS THE MIND OF GOD???

lisa   July 16th, 2009 9:30 pm ET

MIchael, the "cash cow" reportedly is worth more dead than alive. Who benefitted by his death, AEG insurance money, Sony"s vault of songs unreleased sung by Michael, enabling insiders and staff?
I heard Mr Brando say he continues to "get paid a salary???? How many staffers/ employees are still getting paid, for what and for how long? Keep them honest Anderson

Carolyn Jones - Hawthorne, California   July 16th, 2009 10:55 pm ET

I cannot get over the death; it is so tragic; I hope all physicians, nurses and bodyguards aware are prosecuted; This should have never happened – I have Never heard of using diprival!?!?! One thing for sure; MJ could Not have gone and gotten it himself!!

steve   July 16th, 2009 10:58 pm ET

this is very hard since is death i lost confadence

CEA   July 16th, 2009 11:04 pm ET

What about the last song Michael was singing on tape..They Don't Care About Us? Wasn't there a big controversy over that song, the lyrics, etc., and weren't the lyrics changed at some point to be less offending to a certain community? Was he still fighting that issue?

Mad   July 16th, 2009 11:07 pm ET

I would love to hear this song!

Gina   July 16th, 2009 11:11 pm ET

Im looking forward to the unreleased songs and videos of Michael that will surely keep surfacing for a long time. Michael was a genius who never stopped working even in his darkest hours. Every piece of material he released on this earth was pure perfection and anything still floating around out there wil be too.

Karoline   July 16th, 2009 11:14 pm ET

I would love to hear his unpublished song. it is definitely a way to connect to Michael in this time of his passing. We have lost an icon and it drives me crazy to know that there were people out to hurt him for money. Greed seems to be the CONSTANT thing that does not die.

Joe Jacksion better watch his friend from Las Vegas I'm sure that he looks at joe as a sucker and meal ticket. Joe dosen,t get it and never will. he's being lpayed and he deservs it monopellizzing on his Son> "a real piece of work even at his age no diffrent then when joe was younger he could not make it on his own and has not yet filled that void now he wants to ruien his grand kids for his own selfishness. He apparently needs another try at something he was unable to do. Not much diffrent than Ike Turner both regardless of what they did a monster is a monster. He has no buesiness in the lime light to brag at what he has done to his kids. unfortunitly the kis can't break the cycle of his abuse. He is trying to be in controll and is not. All you have to do is view the public tapes when micheal is there and see that he is being ignored when ever he tries to show the phony suport for his son but micheal icnprs him. Joe go bact to Vegas and stay there among the other losers where you belong. Just a little of: Phills food for thought

Barbara J   July 16th, 2009 11:46 pm ET

I agree with Barbara above too. AEG had insurance on MJ for 30 concerts they knew the physical on him was a facade trying to fool the public. Just take a real serious look at MJ one can see the hollowness in his cheekbones, and wearing bulky clothes to hide his slenderness. They were using him to the max they figure if he is dead we will get paid the 30 concerts then release video trying to say he was in good health. He wasn't dancing around like he use to just marching, probably had drugs in him like other pain killers to do that video then put him under and blame him (MJ) as he was an addict on the other pain killer pills. Sounds like to me AEG is passing the buck to get paid. If he was alive probably never get all their money, and MJ would of never been able to pay off his debt.

Violeta G. Azupardo   July 17th, 2009 1:40 am ET

Thank you for featuring the unreleased song of MJ. I hope it will be released soon so I can get a copy. Please discuss also the future of MJ's children, the custody being sought by Debbie Rowe and who has the right and sole responsibility for the custody of the three (3) children. You're an award winning anchorman and journalist. I always keep track of your AC360 program on CNN. Keep up the good work. God Bless!

i prefer a horse with no name by the band america.a place with no name by michael jackson does ,nt sound like michael jackson,s musical recipe. michael was original and diverse . this song is anything but.

Tracey Bonner   July 17th, 2009 3:51 am ET

I am still crying over the death of the forever pop star Michael Jackson. He will be a part of my life forever, and his songs will be forever. There will never be another man, musician or entertainer like him again in life. Maybe we will get to see him Heaven.

Mary   July 17th, 2009 5:31 am ET

F.Y.I For those who don't know the Jackson family had a variety show on, I think in the 70's. Episodes are on utube. They also had a cartoon show. This whole family is very talented, and driven to be in show of buisness. If you look at old interviews of Michael Jackson on utube it answers alot of questions about his life. He should have stayed closer to his family. They would have had his best interest at heart, as opposed to a bunch of paid people! I think they will protect his kids, so they should stay where they are loved. The kids need security because of who they are. there is alot of crazy greedy people in this world Michael is not here because he trusted the wrong doctor. Sometimes its hard to know who to trust, and who not to. sad fan

Dee   July 17th, 2009 8:27 am ET

Michael Jackson was the greatest entertainmer ever. It's sad to say, but he had people surrounding him who cared more about money than about really helping him and being honest with him. What the heck was going on when there was a doctor there with him that night? How could this have happened? Something sounds very shady. Michael should have been under much better care. The love of money is the root of all evil. He's gone but will never be forgotten.

Lena   July 17th, 2009 9:08 am ET

I was watching CNN last night and saw the section of MJ's kids attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The comment that was made by one of MJ's associates about him "absolutely not wanting his children raised in this religion" is very interesting. And the fact that it "was a traumatic" part of his childhood...hmmmm. If MJ DID NOT want his children around Jehovah's Witnesses then why did he leave his children with his mother? If it was so traumatic, don't you think he would of NOT left them in her care? MJ knew that this religion would be fine for his children, otherwise he would of made sure they were no part of it, don't you think? Raising children with guidelines and teaching them things that would benefit them from the bible is not traumatic, its beneficial. When they get older they can choose what they'd like to do, in the meantime, grandma is there for them and will give them some guidance that will benefit and help them cope with all of this.

Who cares! We know everything about this poor guy from the trash papers. CNN should concentrate its energies and resources on reporting on the horrible corruption in Washington, failing public school systems around the nation, the war on terror, and the countless other worthwhile stories that affect Americans in a meaningful way everyday. The nation’s economy is in a free fall and we get bombarded with stories about Bubbles.

Please, do your job. It is so very important to a free and prosperous society.
