If they can manage to carry that off and not get discouraged and quit then perhaps the cartel will go elsewhere. At least these individuals are keeping attention on the cartel and that isn't good for business - the fact the cartel had them killed shows that they must be doing some good against the cartel - if they weren't then why bother with killing them?
