Oh yes, I forgot about the nanny. I know she won't get custody because she is not family, but that is part of the problem with the system. Sometimes the best interest is not the family. However, Katherine should be the guardian and the nanny must be a documented part of their lives. God Bless the children and the family.

I'm glad to see that someone is using their brain within all this stupid media frenzie about MIchael and his use of perscription drugs. I beleive that if wasn't for all the media hype in his life he would not have felt the need for so many perscrpition drugs anyway. the media have blood on their hands as they did with Princess Di an Maralynn Monroe. Didin't their parents or teachers ever tell them not to gossip or lie about others and how bad it can hurt? why do people get paid for doing this kind of ____? it makes me sick. MIchael did more for the people and animals of this world than anyone else in the world ever has or probably ever will. remember back to when you were in school and someone dicided to spread a rumor about you and how you felt. by the end of a few days you were probably in tears and didn't want to go to school because of it. now let's multiply that by the world over. would I even live through it? probably not. if I did I'd probably want to crawl in a whole and hide too. why does the media feel the need to do the best they can to destroy someone's life because they have worked harder than most anyone else to acheive their goals. I wonder how they sleep at night; they most probably need some kind of SEDATIVE.

Katherine Jackson should not get custody of those children, and the money either...she is in cohoots with JOE...and they will make those children's live miserable.....Diana Ross shoudl keep them or the nanny that has raised them ever since born.
Joe just wants MJ's money.....he doesn't love those kids at all if he didn't even love his own.

Could MJ be alive......?

No "body" has been buried...no one at the hospital seems to even acknowledge he left there dead...his death certificate has not been officially signed yet either....so many questions still lingering....what's this about where to bury him ?????

and now the custody battle...new wills...?

On July 1, Fox News reported that court documents shows Mr. & Mrs.
Jackson filed for Chapter 7 bankruptsy for $24 million in debts in 1999.

If the court awards Mrs. Jackson custody and she reaches the age she can no longer care for them, the court decides who the kids go to then. This uprooting does not follow the Child Protective Services Laws in maintaining stability of the kids.

If Rowe gets the kids, she won't get rich or get money. She will only get the monthly child support payments the court awards and she has to keep accountability of every dollar spent on them for many years until all of MJ's debts are paid.

Staying with Katherine Jackson as their legal guardian makes the most sense for the children – with Katherine they are not only with their grandmother but their uncles are nearby, Rebbie and LaToya and Janet are near and can help. This family appeared to be a very close-knit family with everyone looking out for everyone else – to rip those children out of that environment to go to Debbie Rowe does not make sense. It would first split the children up since she is not the mother of the 3rd child; the family unit and identity that they have had for years will be taken from them; and it would be one more traumatic experience along with their father's death that these children will have to deal with – there could be irreparable emotional harm should they be remanded to someone else's custody. The California court, I hope, will pay more attention to what is best for the children, instead of the fact that on paper at least Debbie Rowe is the mother. She has played no significant part in their lives up to this point and would not be a good choice for these children now. Keep the children together and with the Jacksons.

I just wanted to comment on the Xanax information that has just come out. The starting dose for Xanax is 0.25mg three times daily with a Max daily dose of 4mg (which I've seen numerous times). So, if you took the max dose of Xanax, that would be 16 tablets per day. Michael only took 10. So, at the present time, he was not exceeding the limit on Xanax. Do your homework....

I believe that Mrs. Jackson is the best person to raise these children. They need to be loved, protected and raised by someone who is capable of that. They do not need to be wanted because of the $$ that goes w/ them.

Momma Jackson should get permanent custody of the kids. Debbie signed her rights away twice..what kind of mother does that? Its way too obvious that should she pursue custody now her motive is clearly financial.

I think Mrs. Jackson should retain custody. She should also name a second person, possibly her oldest daughter as someone to assist her since she is up in age. No way should Debie Rowe or anyone else get the children. I hope it's true that she and Joe Jackson are living apart.

Totally agree with Richard. Those poor children have had enough disruption in their young lives over the past few weeks. They do not need to be passed to someone who gave them up,nor do they need to be split up. They need love and stability in the arms of the family that they know and love.

Katherine Jackson is more fit to be the gaurdian of the children than Debbie Rowe.
