Thank you for sharing your story and Im sorry that this happened to you in my country. These people who arrested you can't even read and write, yet do research on a photographer like you. Iason, you and everyone else knows that the government at the people are seperate and those who treated you like that are not real iranians. They are brain washed and some are brought in from other countries ( L and P mostly). Im glad you are safe. There's not much more to say about it, since its true nature is obvious to anyone who has eyes to see. We should not be in a big hurry to engage with it or negotiate, even if the regime was willing to do so. That doesn't seem likely, anyway.
