Michael Jackson's story gets more sad every day. Addiction is a pretty strong disease. Family doesn't matter, especially when that family is trying to help.

I wish CNN and 360 would leave Michael Jackson's kids alone. It is not important to talk about them. Stop exploiting them and leave them in peace. Michael would not have wanted this for them.

Hi! It's great to see you back from the rooftop.

Michael Jackson has been referred to by many, many people over the years as, “Michael”, “The King of Pop”, “Man in the Mirror”, “The Gloved One”, (the list of cool and not so cool names go on and on and on) . But It was for the first time yesterday on CNN that I (and most likely most of the general public) heard a child, his child, refer to him as “Daddy” in her heart-wrenching speech and all of a sudden it dawned on me…he was also someone’s daddy. My heart goes out to the family.

Troubling news regarding the extent of Jackson's drug dependency. A sad reminder of the dangers of abuse. I was aware of Janet and Michael's distance as of late, but was unaware that his drug dependency was the issue at hand.

It's sad to hear that the family tried to intervene but weren't successful. I wonder if there is a way to "force" someone to be committed to a treatment facility based on family concerns. How else can a similar situation be averted?

I saw the LK interview with the doctor. Very interesting, although I am always suspicious of people who seek out the cameras to "speak out". He seemed nice, let's hope he didn't contribute to MJs addiction.

It is impossible to articulate the profound impact that Michael Jackson had on not only the world as a whole, but it's people as individuals. The joy he brought and the unity he inspired through his incredible music, his selfless generosity, his kind heart, his brilliant mind and his gentle soul were his gifts to us. And for those of us who's lives he touched, he will always be loved, cherished, appreciated, respected, remembered and revered. My heart, like the hearts of so many, aches with the loss and smiles with the love of Michael Jackson.

This is so sad. I still can't believe MJ is gone.

Great investigation work by Drew Griffin with the info that Jackson family members were attempting an intervention to help Michael. I wish they had been successful two years ago.

The cause of Micheal's death should not be made public he had enough of spotlight on him let him rest in peace.No one has the right to expoit him like this .

Caught part of Dr. Klein's interview with Larry King - seemed to be very free with Michael's medical information, but when it came to a paternity question of MJ's two oldest children, he was pretty evasive.

I am praying that the Judge honor MJ will, and the media leave the children alone. My heart goes out to the children.

Though Michael Jackson is a major public figure, he is entitled to SOME privacy. Discussing the removal of parts of his brain and whether he is the biological father of the children can only be extremely upsetting to his family and, I think, to his fans at this time. Please let us remember the Michael we enjoyed and leave the rest alone.

It's so sad that even his famliy couldn't stop him from using drugs .They loved him so much but he couldn't let them in to help .

Medical privacy laws do extend past death. When I was working as a counselor in a inpatient treatment facility and a former patient would die, we were not allowed to discuss the case outside of staffing. It's a violation of federal law. These people are up for lawsuits (and should be).

Michael Jacksons daughter touched my heart yesterday. I think the children say alot about the parent, and it appears that Michael Jackson must of been exaclty what his little girl said, the best father anyone could ever imagine.It still brings tears to my eyes to think about it.

States desperately need the stimulus money. Pennsylvania is facing a $3 billion deficit this year and is in the middle of very painful budget negotiation for next year (already overdue). Without the stimulus, things would be much worse and I'm not sure what the state would do.

That was heartbreaking of Micheal's daughter Paris breaking down and telling everyone how much she missed and loved her father .I cried along with her .

I f i remember correctly, Pres. Obama did say it would take a long time and would cure everything.

It does seem that the stim money is moving at a very slow pace.

good night Anderson, In my opinion Michael Jackson three children life should not be upset any more than it already is. I feel they should continue their life as it was with their "daddy" without him. I also thought the children should have had on hats or sunglasses like their Aunts & Uncles because Blanket was uncomfortable on stage. Pain is subjective and one have to experience it in order to understand it.

I did an experiment and you would not believe how easy it is to get diprivan. I talked to online customer service and they told me it was legal for me to get it. At first they said oh you need a prescription and I said well, I don't have one. They told me to just fill out the online form and they would sent it to me. So if I can get it, of course MJ can get it.

Aren't there fines that need to be paid if healthcare folks violate HIPPA either monetarily or criminally?

I think that if they want donations they should give a Michael Jackson Memorial Boolklet for everyone that sends in a donation. Instead of letting these people sell them on e-bay and make so much money of of them. Not even a hour after the Memorial they were selling them on e-bay for 4 and 5 hundred dollars.

I haven't really heard much from the Obama administration about a second stimulus bill being needed - seems to be other pundits and commentators floating this idea. Did I miss something?

Dr. Klein got way too involved in the personal affairs of a patient and so did his office. He went way over the line.

Michael Jacson was a wonderful performer, and the memorial service
was beautiful, but the coverage was far more extravagant than most political figures. The amount of money that went into security and taking away officers from their daily duties was excessive. Why can't the Jackson's help foot the bill that the city has to pay. Aren't we cutting
the budget for education and other important issues?

I think Micheal Jackson is resting in peace. He was a beautiful spirit. I'm glad that I was around to witness him grace the world with his presence. He probaly was taking the sleeping medication to get some good rest for his upcoming tour in London. One thing is for sure: There will never be another like MJ. All hail the king.

Michael Jackson was a wonderful man, a great musician, talented dancer, and a inspiring humanitarian. The day he passed he took a piece of the world with him. I thank God for blessing the world with his wonderful creation. There's nothing anyone can say that can make me think or feel differently of him. His legacy he left behind will always remain. Hopefully now he can rest in peace, and he will always be embedded in our hearts.

People elect their governors to serve a full term – unless they are appointed to other offices (like our gov was during her second term to be the Secretary of HHS). For Palin to proclaim herself a "lame duck" governor during her first term shows she didn't think she would be re-elected and it shows that she's a quitter.

The Helmand River Valley is such a precious place because of the profitability .....the military should centralize in that area.

Palin's early exit from office is representative of nearly everything she has done while in office as governor and while campaigning with John McCain for the Presidency in 2008: Ill-conceived and poorly explained. Her complete lack of rationality in the decisions she makes is exemplified in her decision to leave office without a valid reason.

Sarah Palin and her reasons for leaving (not quiting) the executive leadership of the State of Alaska, remind me of explanations that my two daughters gave me when they messed up when they were 7-10 years old. They grew up, ............it appears that she hasn't.

I also wondered why Dr. Klein was so "open" about MJ's medical issues. What he said about MJ having Lupus and Vitiligo does coincide with what Dr. Deepak Chopra said.

Makes me wonder why MJ would want to conceive children knowing that they could inherit these autoimmune diseases that created so much pain in his life.

Why didn't he mention that it was when the surge in Iraq started that the casualties dropped? You know, the surge Obama opposed.

i've seen bits and pieces of the memorial...I particularly liked the part when Brooke Shields spoke. It is, I think one of the honest speech as she really knew who Michael was, unlike the other ones who were in attendance. Some werent even born, some do not have a business of being there.

Interesting report by Tom Foreman - but could the raising fatalities in Afghanistan be because we took our "eye off the ball" in that country when we entered into war in Iraq - and the lower troop levels allowed the Talliban to regroup, making the country more dangerous? Plus, I think the terrain in Afghanistan makes it a much more dangerous place for combat.

Just watching those coffins return home took the breath out of me for a second. It's like reliving my friend's death each time another soldier dies. Not sure this was such a great idea for those who've survived no matter how great the political gains from using them to make a point.

I met Michael Jackson in 2003, I was very fortunate to take a picture with him as well get his autograph. I still have my ticket stub from the 1984 Victory Tour along with the program form the concert. How can fans purchase the offical booklet from his memorial service without getting it from ebay and having greedy money hungrey people profiting off of Michael. I would love to purchase the program from a valid source. Please help the true fans out.

Palin's statement that she is trying to save AK taxpayers the expense of frivolous ethics compaints is looking pretty thin. David Murrow, spokesperson for the governor, claims the money is budgeted to lawyers in advance and had they not been investigating the ethics complaints, the money would be paid to them anyway. My heart goes to Steve McNair's wife and kids, I found out that last weekend it broke the story Steve McNair found dead. That is so scary news to hear. I don't know why she shot him many times and she killed herself.

The murder-suicide of Steve McNair and his girlfriend is so sad. I cannot imagine being his wife trying to wrap herself around her husband's death and an affair. And to explain this to their kids? The betrayal. Jeez.

My best friend lost a lot of her hair after she had an operation a few years ago, and the doctors told her that it was due to the anesthesia. She was reminded of this when that source claimed that Michael Jackson had no hair left. So, what we've been wondering is if there might be a connection between the alleged Diprivan use and the reported hair loss?

I feel for McNair's wife and kids. It may have been the possibility that she had no idea of the affair up until she heard he was killed by his misstress.

Interesting comments by the professor, but he is someone that professes knowledge, doubt that he ever investigated an actual crime.

I'm 71. I can't imagine at age 20 being able to commit murder and suicide. I was so innocent. I guess times have changed.

I'm sorry, but something doesn't sound right about the explanation for the murder suicide. I'm guessing there is something deeper... On second thought, perhaps not. Did you hear about the teenager here in NY who killed teenage boyfriend over another girl? Teenagers! Too sad. There is too little value placed on life.

Every time I see the clip of Paris' eulogy, I start to cry again. Michael's children are a testament to the love Jackson showed toward both them and the world. My heart goes out to those brave kids.

Children who are raised to reach their top potential and taught proper manners, look and act like these children....it is normal to me.

They are very intelligent and grounded.

The US should be doing much more than we are to get these ladies back. It makes us look very weak to just let them stay there with no efforts at all being made to secure their freedom.

@Lori – I feel you. I don't have children, but the thought of anyone trying to take my child from me enrages me, let alone selling him. It seems so tragic to see this story with these children being sold into their tragic deaths up against the Jackson children and their grief. Fatal attraction!! Absolutely scary. Fine line between love and hate exists indeed. I don't believe that purely loving someone can result to killing or hurting them. I think there are more extenuating and aggravating circumstances that lead to it apart from psychological reasons. The mere fact she was planning to move with him (not being a "stalker") and him being shot on her bed tells more. Besides, wasn't she arrested for a DUI a couple of days beforehand?? Rocky relationships including sex always is way off and unstabling for the more emotionally involved. Just, IMHO.

Did I miss something – actually I haven't watched the show yet, but I'm really confused here – was it ever reported or said that Dr. Klein's sperm was used in the pregnancy of Debbie Rowe? I feel so sorry for Michael's kids – if we thought Michael had an identity problem, I can only imagine how his kids will feel. Hopefully the family and friends are going to surround them with love and support and not make a circus out of their lives.

I noticed how loving the kids are with each other. They seem to look out for one another and cherish each other. I'm so glad about that.

I am sure MJ was a wonderful parent, very kind and loving. I hope they will live "normal" lives.

beautiful little eulogy was tear jerking.....it did remind us that he was simply a "Daddy" too. The music industry will not be the same in many
ways as I am sure Lisa Marie Presley can relate to...and also with Paris on the segment you are showing on air right now. I hope the
news coming in the days ahead will be less tragic and something more can be offered to other "icons" who are suffering the same condition or addiction. Doesn't the industry have support groups and
outreach arms such as the Grammys' Music Cares, etc.?

As Erica said, Janet really seems to be the rock right now. I've always gotten the idea she was one of the most grounded members of the family, and her kind yet assuring way with Jackson's kids seemed to prove it.

It kind of makes you wonder why MJ didn't name Janet Jackson to take care of his children in his will vs. his mother or Diana Ross.

The McNair situaton is so sad because he was a married man and cheating had caused him his life.

@ Beth – Dr Klein said he donated sperm at one point in his life, but not specifically for MJ. He also said MJs light skin color was wholly contributed to a skin disease.

These kids are lucky they have strong family to help them. The loss of a parent is never filled, though, by another. Every major and minor event always has this empty spot where that parent should have physically been. It gets better, but it never goes away completely. My prayers are with them.

A more practical and viable course would be to accept a position as
a journalist for Fox News, accept Speaking Invitations coming her
way, and otherwise make money to cover her legal expenses and
probably become a wealthy woman. (At least, in that case, those of
us who utterly disagree with her policies can go our own way without
seeing her constantly on tv and our computers as we can change
channels and otherwise GO OUR OWN WAY!)

All those out there who keep throwing negative comments against Michael Jackson are either jealous, just really angry at people or simply bored with life. Regardless of him being an entertainer, he was a great humanitarian. If you do not get the message in his songs, e.g. the Earth song, Man in the Mirror, Heal the World, and be inspired to do something good for someone else, be it a family member, a neighbor, or another country, then there is seriously something missing deep inside you!

It is sad, for people like me, that we truly appreciate MJ for the person he was, now after his death. I hope that he lives on forever.
