They give the Government more control over the citizens of the United States. I'm geeting sick and tired of hearing Democrats say the reason Republicans won't sign these bills is because they were written by Democrats. You need to read what controls are being given to the Government. If you go to school to become a doctor, do you want the Government to tell you what kind of doctor you can be? Do you want the Government to be able to tell you which doctor you can see, when you can see him, or what he can do for you? Do you want the Government to tell you how high you can turn your thermostat, what kind of car you can buy, or say you can't sell your house until it meets "green requiremnts"? I suggest just because the bills are being written by Democrats, you Democrats need to read the bill. It isn't any different than a bill being written by Republicans, you still need to read what is trying to be passed. The Government wants more control of you and me, period! Of course it cannot happen unless we, the people, permit it. We must rise up and make our voices heard when we are being taken in a direction that we do not wish to go. Too many of us are too partisan to comprehend truth and facts when they are staring us in the face. We are now at a crossroad, and I seriously believe that there has never been any time, in our lifetime, that is as critical as these times are now. There are many critical issue's facing us, but the most important ones are 1. Cap and trade--2. Health care and 3. Immigration, as I see it. I believe that Cap and Trade will be disasterous for our people. Health care will put us all in a worse situation, as you do not try to save people by putting them on a sinking ship. Immigration is bankrupting our hospitals in Calif. and our social services can only go so far. PLEASE WAKE UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
