July 1st, 2009 8:14 pm ET Please don't stop covering the struggle for democracy in Iran. This has been the first time in decades that CNN and other news agencies show how most people of Iran are different from their government. You guys did a great job. Thank you!! However, we always got punished for the crimes of our government. For those of us that left Iran and moved to US, since we could not take it anymore, FBI stopped by our door often, our parents could rarely visit us due to US visa clearances and hardship, etc. We are treated as if we are like our government. CNN never covered any of these. This seems like the right time to finally cover how we, as Iranians, pay for the crimes of the government of Iran. Thanks for all your efforts. |

July 1st, 2009 8:17 pm ET There is no way Micheal Jackson could not have a perm. cather placed for his IV drug usage. You see these in Cancer patients and long term IV therapy. It is place in the operating room and usualy is in the subclavian...this would provide immedate access to give Propofol. I believe he had one place in the Middle East at the Sultan when he had some of his plastic work. |

July 1st, 2009 9:14 pm ET I am as big a fan as anyone of Michael Jackson, but hey enough is enough. There are other things going on in the world. Can we get back on with the news of the world instead of just the Jacksons. |

July 1st, 2009 9:16 pm ET How will Obama face this issue, ignore it as is his policy when it does not fit neatly into his packaged product sales pitch to the American people of reform, transparency and most important, urgent action. |

July 1st, 2009 9:46 pm ET I hope this journalist gets released soon. I remember during Carter's administration the Iran government took hostage 52 Americans for 444 days from November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981, They were freed as President Reagan was sworn in as the next President. Hopefully since it is just one hostage this time the diplomatic efforts can arrange for a speedy release. |

July 1st, 2009 10:24 pm ET Recommend story about the dangers of journalism – in unstable countries, let alone in war time/zones. Esp the case for investigative journalism in other than US – and sometime in US (source protection.) |

July 2nd, 2009 2:37 am ET The news of Michael Jackson's death was a shock to me but killing of all those young men and women and beating of Iranian demonstrators are more shocking. I wished you would go back to Iran's coverage. Government of Iran used their thugs to shut people off. What is CNN's excuse? Iranians inside Iran were hopeful to be able to make a difference by sending you clips or pictures of events in Iran. It is not fair to those hopeful people for CNN sell them out and cover what should really remain private to Jackson's family. At least respect M. Jackson let him rest in peace. He did not get much when he was alive and now digging deep deep into personal stuff without considering what damage if would do to his family. |
