It's true, the Michael Jackson story just seems to get worse everyday. It's very tragic, all of it.

I always ask myself if there is a need to take drugs together, which will be the effect of them inside the body!

How did Michael know that he could take this intravenously and
that all he needed was for someone to watch over him while he slept?
Which doctor gave him all this knowledge about this
particular medication?

This dipravan issue is way out. This nurse sounds a little confused about the medication and how it is used and it's use. Just too many stories, let MJ rest in peace, Nothing is going to change what has happened.

That's why I love watching you Anderson...only you would be quick enough to ask why he would contact her after a 3 month gap...

Don't you think if things were so bad, did anyone help? And who was the doctor who give him this medication?

This new information from nurse Cherilyn Lee is quite disturbing when taking into consideration that Dr.Murray was asked to stay at Michael's house. I remember her saying that Michael wanted to take the drug and be monitored while on the drug.

I am a health professional and this So Called NURSE in the Michael Jackson case is in violation of the U.S. HIIPA ACT! I'm sorry, She is slime who is trying to have her 15 mins of FAME!

Ms. Lee sounds truthful. Even if she gave Jackson's handlers advice, it doesn't mean they followed up with it.

I don't get why the nurse didn't go to the authorities with this right after he died. Why talk to the press first. If she didn't go them, I hope they go to her. I hope they talk to the person she says called her for help. The person she's not willing to give up publicly. I'm not going to call her a liar, but as a nurse she should know better shouldn't she?

Why report this info from this nurse if it has not be independently confirmed? It seems like unnecessary fueling of this fire. This woman did not sound credible to me - a mere layperson!

This is just too weird. What I can't believe is that a practicing medical professional didn't report this to anyone. Legally, there is a duty to report if a person is in danger. Asking for an IV sedative sends off red flags for me. I'd be calling the police at a minimum.

The nurse story has changed from what she told Larry King. She stated that she asked a doctor friend of her's about the drug he wanted, not refer to her PRN book. Something is strange about her.

Has there been a decision on a date for the coroner's inquiry?

If Michael Jackson really had Lupus, then all of this speculation is medical ignorance. Lupus patients "look" like drug addicts and drug seekers because we are in constant inexorable pain.

This alleged nurse is enraging me!!!!!!! Diprovan is used for conscious sedation and is short acting. She's looking for her 15 minutes of fame and is trying to make a quick buck. I'm an ER nurse and am completely livid right now. This woman is giving nurses a bad name. Not even sure is she is a nurse. She calls herself a nutritionist as well. CNN do not give her the time of day.

Who is going to pay for all of the police protection for the funeral on Friday? The taxpayers of Cali can not afford all of this!

Anderson, could you please ask this nurse why she did not know what Diprivan/Propofol is? It is one of the most commonly used drug in any surgery department. How could she not know this?

Also, when someone is as thin as Michael was doesn't the body start using muscle to sustain itself and isn't the heart a muscle?

If this drug was found through autopsy,
LAPD must find out who was enabling him
with this intravenous medication.

Dear God! How terribly sad that this death really could have been prevented. If this Dr. killed him, even accidentally, to me it's just another black on black crime– and for what? Money!

Nobody's answering things question? They are saying that he was using but nobody is saying anything. If this does go to court, don't you think that all things in the house will be questioned? Because everybody have been in and out?

No one should be discussing who is and who is not the biological child of Jackson in the news. The children deserve better treatment by news agencies. Mother Jackson or Debbie Rowe should step forward and put a gag order on this issue. Sorry to those hungry to find out more and more on this issue.

Does anyone know if Michael woke up Thursday Morning at all? What made Dr. Comrad walk into Michael's room that afternoon? What time did Michael go to sleep the night before? What was the last thing Michael said to his kids?

How long does propaphol (depraphan) stay in the system once the drip is stopped? Is it possible that the Dr. was trying to stall calling 911 to give it time to metabolize and get out of Michael's system and that's the reason for the 30 minutes before the ambulance came?

I havent' been to a Michael Jackson concert, from the video of the rehearsals looks like a hell of a show.

The nurse sounds shady, I don't like it. She's just trying to ride the Jackson hype and add her two sense in for a bit of fame. No one can ever believe everything concerning Michael Jackson because people are always trying to get a piece of him. Rest in paradise Michael, teach the angels how to moonwalk.

Diprivan (note correct sp) should never have been given to Jackson in that setting. It would certainly would put him to sleep, but must be given continuously via an IV. It is not for use by people not familiar with emergency airway management. At my hospital, it can only be administered by anesthesia providers. It also is rather expensive.

The Nurse speaking out on the Jackson case may not be the most reliable person. Case and point she is breaking Federal Laws that protect a patients medical record from being given to the public with out consent from the patient. She obviously is speaking out for her 15 minutes, rather than for the good of her patient.

Hate to back track but still have concerns about the doctor on duty. If there was no phone in the room for the doc to call out, was the security guy calling from his cell phone? You can here the doctor and he is clearly in the bedroom with Jackson.

I am curious as to whether or not Cherilyn Lee is a creditable voice. I am often worried about her comments on one end she claims to be MJ's nurse, then his nutritionist. Why would she be someone to listen too?!!!

I am a pharmacist, and don't know anyone who would in their right minds give an outpatient propofol!!!!!!!! It's for ANESTHESIA! it's used to put you OUT! (for a procedure).

Never in a million years would this be used for sleeping. who would allow this to be dispensed for this purpose.

The nurse means nothing. What needs to be found out is WHO prescrbed PROPOFOL????? Dr. Gupta said it right... it's only for use IN A HOSPITAL.

Given the short acting nature of Diproven, how long would the drug have remained in his system? Long enough to be found in blood or urine taken after his death? What is the half life of this drug?

I find it odd that a doctor would incorrectly perform cpr and wait 30 minutes to call. And now a nurse comes on to say that she ignored his requests for help. Did either one notice he may have a drug problem?

Yes. weight is a factor regarding the strenght of any drug (ex: pediatric doses versus adult doses). So if MJ really weighed only 112lbs, large doses of meds could overwhelm his system.

i think michael know the drug was going to give him problems but he wanted rest and i will always remember him and his music my prays goes to his family

She said she first met Michael 3 months ago and he asked about "Diprivan" and she looked it up and told him it's a dangerous drug and he shouldn't be taking it. Just 5 days before his death Michael's enteroughe called her and Michael was complaining of symptoms and wanter her to come. She advised him to go to the hospital. But he didn't.

I agree, people should focus on Michael's legacy, not his personal life.

I dont get it, if he had complained about being in any sort of pain or didnt feel right why wasnt anyone taking care of the problem. I mean he had the doctor living with him so this kind of thing wouldnt happened to him. I just keep hearing this and more people are getting involved in this and it hurts me so bad, he didnt derserve this.

What the nurse is saying makes sense to me now. As a former ICU?CCU nurse this would be used to induce anesthesia, to sedate intubated intensive care unit patients. it is available in 10mg/ml in 20ml ampules; 50ml prefilled syringes; 50ml and 100ml infusion vials. Patients have to be monitored closely and these drugs are only available in the hospital pharmacy. It is used mostly on cardiac patients. Do you see where the cardiologist comes in. That is right. Diprivan is usually prescribed by a cardiologist. I still am very suspicious of the Doctor.

I think that MJ died from Serotonin Syndrome, just like Anna Nichol Smith and her son. I bet that his toxicolgy report will state that he had Zoloft, Ambien, and Demerol in his blood system at the time of his death.

Do you think that Michael's father knew he was not in the Will and that's why he hurried to get his record label name which he couldnt even remember or pronounce out to the public. Maybe he thought he could get some of Michael's music on it before people realized he wasnt in the will. He seems like he is on something, never mind poor MIchael. That Dad is terrible, ruthless. I don't think anyone forgets the legacy MJ has left. The media coverage is important to people, who have been tragically affected. Thank you Anderson for sharing our needs for coverage on the surrounding matters.

That Nurse interview was alarming. Not sure why MJ's people would be contacting a nurse to administer a drug. Wouldn't they need a doctor to issue an order first?

No one knows what happened to Michael Joseph Jackson but him and God. I am a firm believer that our body is a Temple of Christ. When we "choose" our "own" way of living, we will have to deal with the consequences. I am devasted. I grew up with his music in Guyana.

Would the medicine the nurse talked about tonight that is used in hospitals show up in Michael's system in the autopsy? Listening to the 911 call the morning of MIchael's death and the guy said Michael was in bed getting CPR, instead of on a hard surface, maybe this doctor that was with MIchael gave him the lethal med in bed, which would be maybe why he was still in bed trying to revive him.

Holy geez, MJ had more doctors and nurses than Mayo Clinic.

I do kind of wonder how many of them really have any knowledge. They might have been associated with MJ at some point, but it very well might not be germain now.

Maybe this nurse's story is the reason Michael Jackson asked Dr. Murray to spend the night at his house-because he wanted it to sleep, and wanted Murray to monitor him. The whole Dr's story about the aftermath of his death doesn't add up – this family lawyer that is talking on your show doesn't seem to care about what happened and the fact that Michael Jackson was at least the victim of negligence on behalf of his personal physician. It is ridiculous that this is not being handled as a criminal investigation. Anderson-stick with it! Don't be intimidated into letting this go.

The nurse who claims Michael begged her for sleeping medication. Doesn't she know about the HIPA laws that prevent her from talking about private medical information about her patients? Also, why hasn't she contacted police, Michael's family, attorney's, etc., but instead contacts a TV show? Also, she claims Michael was in serious shape 5 days before his death, yet there are claims that he was alert and healthy during reherals. Her claims are very suspicious.

The medication is spelled diprivan and it can be addictive, infact reports of people who have self adminisetered this drug and overdosed and in some cases have died

IF the nurse's story is true. Then they called her becasue they expected her to give them drugs because she has done it before for someone he knows. Last I check nurse's can't prescribe drugs legally!

I'm getting dizzy from all these things people are saying about MIchael Jackson. This sweet, kind, gentle man is gone. Rumors swirled around him his entire life. It would be nice if he could be respected in death. So many people are going to come out now and say things that may or may not be true just to get their face on tv...sad for them. As a cardiac ICU nurse, I am shocked that any healthcare professional would ever consider giving diprivan to MJ under any circumstances. This is a drug I have only given under ICU conditions with the pt. on the vent. IF this is true, the person that convinced him it was safe for him to have and/or would have administered this to him is completely responsible for his death has to be dealt with and prosecuted to the full extent of the law !!!!

Drugs sometimes play a part in people lives legally and sometime illegally.

Michael's death if caused by a drug overdose will force some kind of law to be written to prohibit doctor's hired by the wealthy or people who can afford it to get these drugs easily. As we know, if these drugs are used without caution then they can be lethal.

Not always in the patient info explanations are understandable to all. Or people give to the work of reading them.

The lawyer is posturing and seemingly trying to prevent the truth from coming to light to ensure that the future earning potential is preserved for the Jackson family.

The statement the nurse from FL gave is somewhat compelling. If you were in need of meds (dire need as in addiction) and ran out of current sources, you would try any one you knew. Her call on last Sunday should be able to be confirmed by telephone. In the ER you should have a log in telecommunications. By cell, there will always be a company record and landline is easily traceable through the local sub-station of the phone company. The biggest question for her is "why now?"; she should have come forward prior to now.
In regards to a previous comment by Roe; the story was shortened since the Larry King interview and the book is the PDR (PRN is as needed).

I am an anesthesiologist at Cedars- Sinai Hospital.I administer this drug everyday in th OR. Diprivan causes intense euphoria and is a common drug of abuse for that reason.

How is it that all the people coming forward knew of Michael's alleged abuse of drugs, actually naming the drug (s), knew of the danger but yet did nothing? There's is something called intervention!

Don't let Al Sharpton, Mike's atty. you had on, or anyone else, try to steer you away from seeking the truth. The irony is that, if the Jacksons are seeking the truth, why would they attempt to muzzle the media.
If this icon died because of abuse of medicine, just as in the case of Anna Nicole Smith, they need to be brought to justice. The media needs to shine a bright light on this mess.

Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger. It is upsetting that with the fame, money and prestige, these stars cannot find a quiet peace so that they can sleep. Resorting to drugs and compromising their health, both men died trying to rest.

If she is telling the truth about these pleads for this dangerous my question is at wouldn't she tell someone of this knowledge and why wait so long after he is has returned to his father God does she say these things?

I think they (MJs "associates") should just go ahead and tell the truth about whatever MJ had going on – the hounds are not going to stop sniffing and the stories will be waaaaay more sensationalized than the truth would probably bare. a revised will in 2002 makes since...that is when the third child was born and would need to be added to the will if he is given specific assets....he's 7, it's 2009.

As a nurse, the 911 call from the security guard has bothered me. The EMT asked where the patient was – the security guard told him he was on the bed. He also told the EMT that CPR was being perfomed by the doctor. Anyone who has had a CPR class knows that one needs to be moved to a firm surface for CPR to be performed – in this case , the floor.
Performing CPR on a bed would be useless – why did the cardiologist not know that? or perform it correctly?

If dipervan{ Pofronol} was use, It would stop the resp drive. When you give this drug . You need to have control over the resp drive. example ETube. It now makes sense that if this drug was given or taken by Mr Jackson the resp drive would stop and without air the heart would stop.
This drug is used as a IV drip with pt's on vents. And very closely monitor , It can drop the Blood Pressure Fast, It needs to be monitor very close.

(I am having minor surgery on Thursday and after a presurgery meeting with the anesthesiology dept. they suggested a conversation between my pulmonologist and the assigned anestheiologist which will take place tomorrow.)

When someone starts contacting various physicians for medications without one pysician coordinating care they are only asking for trouble.

Not even a week has gone by since Jacksons death and the number of disfunctional people showing up on the news networks grows bigger by the day. Al Sharpton,Jesse jackson,Joe Jackson, and at least a dozen scumbag lawyers. To top it all of they are going to have a public viewing on Friday of a body that will be 8 days old at that time.

Diprovan is increasingly being adopted as a drug of choice for those addicts who are seeking oblivion rather than a "high". It is often seen in conjunction with people who experienced severe abuse as children and are looking for a wipeout. I work in a substance abuse facility and have seen this first hand. I would like to see you get someone on that has some professional knowledge of this issue.

While the family does not want to hear any details or the causes leading up to his death, it should be reported on. It's unfair to the public to ignore those things. I'd like to know if Michael had an insurance policy. If so, the heirs may not be entitled to as much money if he is shown to be negligent in his own death. Someone who stands to gain from an insurance policy would certainly like the perception to be the decedent was not responsible for his own death.

I have no doubt that Mrs. Jackson will be her utmost to look after the kids. My concern is that, at 79, how much longer will she be around to look after them. Would it not be prudent to draw up alternative plans just in case?

Although the nurse disclosed information that is critical to the events leading to MJ's death, I still don't understand why, after being told MJ was "extremely" ill, she didn't immediately seek a doctor's help or find someone to take MJ to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Lou Ferrigno, who must have seen Michael wearing something other than a long-sleeved, -legged suit didn't notice MJ was skin on bones...didn't notice how slow (based on the video) he was moving. He told Larry King MJ looked healthy and strong. Could Lou be concerned about some sort of liability here?

This is terrible, if Deprivin or some other drug was given to Michael Jackson. Bottom line is a gentle kind man is gone and if it is due to unethical medical practices by so-called doctors, AC360 and CNN should continue to do what it's doing to make the world aware. I have serious doubts regarding statements made by nurse Lee. As an ICU nurse who regularly administers Diprivan to intubated patients, her comments just don't add up. In addition, I don't know of any nurse who uses the outdated PDR (physician desk reference)...sounds like someone wants 15 minutes of fame at Mr. Jackson's expense

A next point: Dr. Murray's attorney said that he "met Michael Jackson unresponsive but, had a pulse." Every medical professional knows that if a patient has a pulse but not breathing rescue breaths should be preformed not CPR.

@ Melinda: Thank you for your comments. For those of us who are adopted and don't know our biological "sperm donors" we don't refer to them as our "Daddies." The only "Daddy" I knew was the man that adopted and loved me until his death.

I was raised by my great aunt and her husband they where more my parents, then my biological parents.

I hope the Iraqies can handle it....it is about time they have sovereignty.

Why is Joe Jackson choosing to promote a record company. I guess he is getting ready for a big fat zero when the will is read. What artist would want to be repersented by him. I would think any member of the former Jackson 5 would have better chance of starting a record company. Joe needs to live a quiet life on a budget.

Just watched the supposed to be dancers for MJ, it's just unfortunate that it didn't happen for them. So as Charice, Oprah's child protege she's suppose to also dance and sing with MJ on his upcoming tour.

I think we should all be remembering a great entertainer and not the negative thing's that are and have been said. I my opinion michael is and alway's will be the greatest. I am hart broken that he is gone.

The news in Iraq is the best I've heard in quite some time. Each of those 4300 souls was a real person, not just a number. This is so bittersweet for those of us who lost people we loved during this conflict.

I think they are taking this paternity issue too far now! Since Michael's name is on the birth certificate, it doesn't matter if there was a sperm donor or not. Being a donor doesn't give you parental rights. I think it would be wrong to reveal something to his children that he didn't even tell them himself. It's not fair to make these kids suffer any more than they already have just to satisfy the curiosity of the public. These are innocent children's lives.

I don't trust the Jackson lawyers.

DOESNT MATTER if Michael Jackson adopted, used a seregant, used artifical insemination, whatever, doestn matter....those children were BORN into Michael Jacksons family...and they were BORN as their father being Mr. Michael Jackson. Why even talk about that....doesn't matter. really. He is the only father they know...or will no.
Plus, that is the LAST thing three kids that just lost THEIR father need to be hearing.

It's very sad to hear all the things those people are talking about MJ, now. What terrifies me is the fact that they are now respecting the children. Do those people want to destroy their lives? How can they live with this doubt now? It's cruel. They should think about them and try to preserve them through this momment. No matter who their natural father is. I have never believed that Michael is the father of the children. I am now starting to question whether Debbie is the mother, or just a surrogate to these kids. No amount of money could let me give up my own blood.

The dancers were great, they should put on a Tribute show for the ticket holders honoring Michael Jackson using some of the Music Talents from around the world.

Anderson — If you “hate reporting on children” — why are you doing it?

Too many stories at this time — wish all the press would leave this “story” alone, let the legal proceedings happen and then report on the results — rather than reporting on the “what ifs.”

I truly hope the children are protected and able to go on and live happy, productive lives.

What I really don't understand is, wouldn't the Dr have wanted to get paramedics to Michael immediately as they have portable electrical paddles to try to get his heart started if he though it was cardiac arrest?

The sensationalism and obsession of the media whether Michael Jackson is/isn't the biological father to HIS children is irrelevant and really NONE of anyone's business!!!! Biology does not make a father, if you're not sure of this, then ask all the children who have been adopted or been in foster care and have a loving relationship with their families. Let us all remember the legacy Mr. Jackson has gifted the world and honor his memory!!!

I consider myself to be a mother and a grandmother yet I never was able to have children of my own. Therefore, I am trying to understand the importance of " Who are the biological parents of Micheal Jackson's children." I may have misunderstood the definition of a parent. Is it not to love,teach,and protect? He was clearly a parent.
