New York's Fox affiliate and TMZ reporting that Michael J is dead.

Shocking to hear that Michael is in such bad shape. There are conflicting reports if he survived or not but my prayers go out to him and his family.

Michael Jackson will always be remembered by my family as an amazing performer with incalculable talent.
I am sad today. So, so sad...

If I was in the Jackson family, I woud sue L.A. Times for putting that information out there before the family could announce his condition. It is imperative that people should pray and wait for the family to make that announcement. LA Times is one of those money hungry businesses that would put information out on someone before making certain their information is accurate.

I truly believe this man was completely exploited by our media in reguards to his legal trouble w/ children. I think he was childlike in nature, and just loved children, and that was turned around into making him look like a monster to the public. He loved kids and connected with them bottom line! He was a legend in my growing up years, and we all need to honor him for that. I feel horrible for the stress he had to go through on legal issues which I believe was most innocent. He was a good hearted person, and am so sad he is no longer with us.

The loss of three major entertainment figures this week they are much loved and will be missed. How sad and what a loss for the music industry Michael was so young and we all grew up with his ups and downs.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family,mostly to his three young children. I am 54 years old, and have been listening to Michael and The Jackson Five for over 40 years. This just goes to prove, that you do not know from one day to the next, what is going to happen to you. I think it is time for all people of all races and all religions, and all political parties, to put these mean hate filled remarks about each other to rest. Michael, was a man well beyond his music, he crossed racial lines better than anyone else I know. And, my prayers also go out Farrah's family.

Wow! What a shock and loss. I hope he did not suffer and I hope he is at peace now. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He was such an amazing person and such an amazing icon. MJ was such a major part of American music history. Only a few can compare to him.

What about Farrah? She died from cancer and didn't have a scandelous life....maybe that is why she is not being reported on?

People often give negative comments about what Michael Jackson did to his appearance. Well, I can understand why and I'm sure many African-Americans born in this country can understand. When all the images you see that are deemed as positive in America are white faces. Michael didn't have a positve image of himself because of this country which is why he tried to change his color and the structure of his face. People asked why but deep inside they know. African-American children today I'm sure go through the same negative feeling that Michael felt. This is what America does to African-Americans. It will be this way as long as they live here. Caucasians don't know this. Yes, they're so blessed that they've never had to feel this. I don't feel this comment will be shown because who wants to hear the truth?

I am so sad for michael jacksons family and the world. We truly lost a talented, special human being. I remember when elvis died, and my mom and her friends so upset. Today I understand the sadness they had. I grew up in what you call a redneck town and alot of bad comments were made when michael was going through the most difficult times in his life. I supported him all the way and argued with many people in his best interest. He was special and that is what made him different. I love the saying he made that he loved children because they told him the truth. It just proves one more time you should never judge a person by the way they look or what you hear. When I saw on the news that Micheal Jackson passed I was deeply saddened; I grew up on Micheal Jackson. I can remember standing in line to buy tickets for his concert. My sister and I stood in line for about 12 hours to buy tickets. We got our tickets and saw the best show of our lives. I am in shock about his death! Wow.... this is a very sad day for everyone, i grew up listening to his music and falling asleep to it and i still listen to it no matter what. And i agree with some people here, around the world different people have made him look like a monster in front of the camera and saying all kinds of nasty things about him, but i never believed all that, they were all jealous of him because he had the gift of music and he was really popular, and they were just trying to bring him down. Michael Jackson never did anything to anyone to get hurt , i don't think he ever argued about something , he was always calm and he brought people together, he did shared the love around the world and he is the one that should be thanked for bringing black people and white people together at the same level. So i really think that the people that was saying all those nasty things about him, should apologize to his family and friends.

It brought back memories when Princess Diana died I kept praying for her to make it in the hospital but she passed just like MJ. I still cannot believe it. The Family should take some blood of Michael and test him for Lyme Disease. The lab in Palo Alto, Calif. is the best to use because of the technology the lab utilizes. I have fatigue, pain and feel so frail as Micheal did. This is very devastating disease that is misdiagnosed and people are being treated for diseases they don't have because it is a hard disease to diagnose. People are dying and children are crippled when born with it before they are 9 years old.
I am a huge fan of Michael since I was in 6th grade. I dance my first slow song in 6th grade to the song " I'll be There". I will never forget that night in 1970.

as a teenager from a small town in GA, I remember my aunt purchasing me the victory concert tour ticket. i was so excited. it was my first concert. he was so talented. we were blessed to have such a wonderful man to share his musical ability with us.

I was on my way to work today when I heard the news on the radio I even felt like calling in, my heart went out to him and I was sad to heard that the King of Pop is gone. I say that because his son was asked during and interview how old is your dad and he said 4 and I beleived he son was right. he didn't say 44 he said my dad is 4. through eveything he has been through micheal was a very lonely man and never got to enjoy his child hood. I beleive that with his come back he had to be better and beyond what he has ever done and I think he put to much stress on himself trying to be a perfect performer. through it all the child molestation case i think everthing just took a toll on his body and his heart couldn't take it. He was a loving man with a good heart and he just wanted people to come together no matter what race you are and be happy and be united and just live life loving everybody that comes across your path way.
