June 25th, 2009 6:45 pm ET If I was in the Jackson family, I woud sue L.A. Times for putting that information out there before the family could announce his condition. It is imperative that people should pray and wait for the family to make that announcement. LA Times is one of those money hungry businesses that would put information out on someone before making certain their information is accurate. |

June 25th, 2009 6:46 pm ET I truly believe this man was completely exploited by our media in reguards to his legal trouble w/ children. I think he was childlike in nature, and just loved children, and that was turned around into making him look like a monster to the public. He loved kids and connected with them bottom line! He was a legend in my growing up years, and we all need to honor him for that. I feel horrible for the stress he had to go through on legal issues which I believe was most innocent. He was a good hearted person, and am so sad he is no longer with us. |

June 25th, 2009 7:52 pm ET My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, mostly to his three young children. I am 54 years old, and have been listening to Michael and The Jackson Five for over 40 years. This just goes to prove, that you do not know from one day to the next, what is going to happen to you. I think it is time for all people of all races and all religions, and all political parties, to put these mean hate filled remarks about each other to rest. Michael, was a man well beyond his music, he crossed racial lines better than anyone else I know. And, my prayers also go out Farrah's family. |

June 25th, 2009 9:53 pm ET People often give negative comments about what Michael Jackson did to his appearance. Well, I can understand why and I'm sure many African-Americans born in this country can understand. When all the images you see that are deemed as positive in America are white faces. Michael didn't have a positve image of himself because of this country which is why he tried to change his color and the structure of his face. People asked why but deep inside they know. African-American children today I'm sure go through the same negative feeling that Michael felt. This is what America does to African-Americans. It will be this way as long as they live here. Caucasians don't know this. Yes, they're so blessed that they've never had to feel this. I don't feel this comment will be shown because who wants to hear the truth? |

June 25th, 2009 9:55 pm ET I am so sad for michael jacksons family and the world. We truly lost a talented, special human being. I remember when elvis died, and my mom and her friends so upset. Today I understand the sadness they had. I grew up in what you call a redneck town and alot of bad comments were made when michael was going through the most difficult times in his life. I supported him all the way and argued with many people in his best interest. He was special and that is what made him different. I love the saying he made that he loved children because they told him the truth. It just proves one more time you should never judge a person by the way they look or what you hear. What a sad day for the family and fans but what a great day in heaven in that they have been blessed with one more of gods special children. God bless the family. Our prayers are with you. |

June 25th, 2009 11:26 pm ET I am truly saddened by Michael's death, but please don't forget we also lost Farrah today. If Michael hadn't passed I'm sure there would have been a lot more on Farrah's passing. June 25th, 2009 11:30 pm ET As many other people in this world; we have endured numerous challenges, as MJ has endured! We know MJ, and his family have been succesful....but, they still deserve respect! I will always love Michael! In fact, this evening, I recalled a time when I was around twelve, (many years ago) I wrote him a fan letter, asking him to help me get into the music business. People of the world......respect an indvidual, and not demorlize! We are people, and we are human as well. If we all continue this modo, we can "Heal the World". I believe....do you? |

June 25th, 2009 11:48 pm ET Wow.... this is a very sad day for everyone, i grew up listening to his music and falling asleep to it and i still listen to it no matter what. And i agree with some people here, around the world different people have made him look like a monster in front of the camera and saying all kinds of nasty things about him, but i never believed all that, they were all jealous of him because he had the gift of music and he was really popular, and they were just trying to bring him down. Michael Jackson never did anything to anyone to get hurt , i don't think he ever argued about something , he was always calm and he brought people together, he did shared the love around the world and he is the one that should be thanked for bringing black people and white people together at the same level. So i really think that the people that was saying all those nasty things about him, should apologize to his family and friends. We Will Miss You =[ |

June 26th, 2009 12:06 am ET I was @ home and that is because I have been unemployed for almost 6months now. I was watching Wolf on CNN as usual. I thought ok, maybe he will pull through. It brought back memories when Princess Diana died I kept praying for her to make it in the hospital but she passed just like MJ. I still cannot believe it. I love music and I have loved all his music for many years. Each time you hear his music play, it is as if it just came out it never grows old. He is the king of pop and he paved a way for many muscians. He's a genius and there will never be any other like him. |

June 26th, 2009 12:16 am ET First, my heart is broken, what a loss. I, family and friends feel like we've lost a family member. I was very upset at the man (didn't carch his name) who lamented on Michael's career, starting back again and how he'd lost his talent ........ I am 56 and evan though I grew up with and on Michael's music I'm impressed and amazed at family or other social gathering's when a Michael Jackson song comes on and childern five and up know word for word his music. I am talking across all color barriers. I'v had this experience more than twenty times in my life. It always makes me think "this man is phenonemal to cross color, gender and time barriers like this" |

| Nancy / test Michael for Lyme |
June 26th, 2009 12:34 am ET The Family should take some blood of Michael and test him for Lyme Disease. The lab in Palo Alto, Calif. is the best to use because of the technology the lab utilizes. I have fatigue, pain and feel so frail as Micheal did. This is very devastating disease that is misdiagnosed and people are being treated for diseases they don't have because it is a hard disease to diagnose. People are dying and children are crippled when born with it before they are 9 years old. |

June 26th, 2009 1:29 am ET Michael Jackson brought a new way of thinking to the world of music. He thought it & brought it ! He will definitely be missed & not for his death no not this. Melody of music, entertainment in a show, therapy for the mind, 4sho. His articulateness made way for many with his style, talent, and performance, this is oh so tragic, don't we all wish this was bad Magic? God's child will rest awhile. R.I.P. M.J Prayers go out the family and host of friends. Kisha Clark , Westland Michigan |

June 26th, 2009 1:34 am ET It is heart rending learning about Michael Jackson's death but he will be forever remembered for his incredible talent that he shared with the world. It is so sad to lose such a great musical icon that has set some exemplary standards that influence artistes today. My prayers go out to his family who haven't lost an icon but lost a son, a brother, a father, an uncle and so much more. I pray that God keeps them comforted and renews their hope. |

June 26th, 2009 1:49 am ET The legendary Michael Jackson, King of Pop has left us with a huge void no one can fill. As a teenager growing up in the '80s, the tempo of his music was like the blood running through ones veins. He was an icon, his music, unmatched and his moonwalk, Oh, so magical. The man was magical himself. In the face of adversity, he remained poised and graceful. He fed the hungry and had genuine love for children and the unfortunate. My heart is filled with grief and an emptiness of losing such a precious soul. MICHAEL, I LOVE YOU ! You are the greatest! Now that you're resting, hopefully, your lifelong critics will now give it a rest. You're the KING, no one takes your crown! MJ, we miss you. R.I.P |

June 26th, 2009 1:53 am ET To Michael Jackson who serenaded us with his beautiful music. Thank you for the music that made us dance, for the love songs, for Billie Jean, scary Thriller, and for sharing your sadness and your joys. Most of all thank you for letting us know: "You are not alone, I am here with you, though you're far away I am here to stay. You are not alone, I am here with you, though we're far apart you're always in my heart. You are not alone"... Today and for many years to come we will mourn the death of a remarkable, multi-talented, misunderstood, and highly scrutinized celebrity of all time. His untimely death made us all realized that despite his flaws his music was the perfect extension of himself. Sorry Michael that we neglected to look beyond your appearance. We forgot that your true self lies in the music that will forever inspire us. |

June 26th, 2009 3:53 am ET Surreal is an understatement, the most shocking day news-wise, since 9/11, and the most cataclysmic entertainment news since the death of Elvis Presley. |

June 26th, 2009 4:09 am ET I was on my way to work today when I heard the news on the radio I even felt like calling in, my heart went out to him and I was sad to heard that the King of Pop is gone. Micheal a musical geneis and a very awesome and talented dancer I love to watch him perform i will truly miss him in this life time and if he ended up in heaven then one day i get to see him again, hopefully if he knew the Lord, the creator of the universe(God) I send my condolences to his family and may the Lord see them through the grieving process. Micheal was 6years older than me i never met him or been to his concerts Im a big fan but not a craze fan. there will only be one king of pop and one king of rock and roll no one will ever live up to elvis or micheal. Micheal thought beyond, even though mentally he was not all there i believe that micheal went back to a time in his life when he was most comfortable and that was the age of 4. I say that because his son was asked during and interview how old is your dad and he said 4 and I beleived he son was right. he didn't say 44 he said my dad is 4. through eveything he has been through micheal was a very lonely man and never got to enjoy his child hood. I beleive that with his come back he had to be better and beyond what he has ever done and I think he put to much stress on himself trying to be a perfect performer. through it all the child molestation case i think everthing just took a toll on his body and his heart couldn't take it. He was a loving man with a good heart and he just wanted people to come together no matter what race you are and be happy and be united and just live life loving everybody that comes across your path way. |
