How sad...Such a bright star snuffed out too soon..Her family must be devastated.. My prayers go out to them.. If any good can come out of this tragedy it is ..that at least she died fighting for her believes.

Did she have to die so needlessly in order for the voice of her country men and women to be heard?
I can't seem to get the image of her death out of my mind. I'm glad I got to see these pictures. Such a beautiful and vibrant person and to be cut down at such a young age.
My condolences goes out to her family. May God bless her and may she rest in peace.

It's been two days that I can not eat, sleep and function properly. Neda did not die, she was born and live forever in everybody's mind.
We should get justice for Neda. She was murdered for her beliefs.
I honestly am in shock...

I hope Neda's death will stand for a real change in Iran. 30 years ago there was a revolution for change, and those who wanted change are now the oppressors. What a complete circle back to where they started.

It is so sad that in this jaded world it took a video that actually showed the life leaving this poor woman to wake people up to what is happening in their world. But once we become used to the sight of death by violence what will be left to wake us up next time? Already the sight of her lifeless eyes is no longer making me turn away immediately. And with people using her blood-stained face as a sign of the protest will it even continue to hold any meaning that a person's life was taken – or will we look and not flinch anymore?

In case anyone takes offense ... I fully support the protesters in Iran and anyone who is helping them. I just wish we all could have come to their aid without this woman's death being broadcast and causing further desensitization of our souls.

Her name was ندا (Neda) , which means voice or call in Farsi. She is the voice of the people, a call to freedom .

she is a very stunning and has beautiful smile that last a lifetime! so sad that those smiles were dimmed by this crazy dictators! I hope she is at peace now; i know she wants to see peace and hope the blood she shred on her life ; someday she will find out that because of her and so many hundreds of victims of this oppression will find a long lasting freedom for her countrymen; and that will change history in the middle east. and the whole world. 2 less crazy dictator in the world will make it a better place to live.....
