As a mother myself, I can feel the pain she has in her heart when she speaks of the familes & children she's encountered.

This world needs more people like Angelina. That's a given. However...I do wish she'd consider adopting an American orphan. There are children here in our own country who have no one, & they need a family too.

Plenty of celebs do "Amazing" things for causes. I do not buy Ms. Jolie's tired holier than thou routine.
Of course I do not look to celebrities to shape my consciousness of the world either and only wait for them to speak about it to give it legitimacy.
She is no hero of mine.

I give Angelina Jolie and big applause for what she is doing, because she is going into countries that do not like Americans, I think she is showing that she wants to help the children of those that have lost their families, and the children that still have some of their family members,we are living a very terrible times now, especially overseas, in countries that are fighting trying to take over the other countries, my heart fills for these children that have lost parents, brothers, sisters and most of their families members, we recently lost our oldest grandchild she turned 15 in June, she was in the hospital, she had leukemia, and I cry every day for her, I can't not image losing your entire family, especially a child. We need to get more medical help to these children and their families, they need it, we take things for granted in the USA, we need to wake up it could be us in their condition. Please help these children and their families.

I think that she is amazing!!! I read her whole book on her journals of when she first started doing this work, and the book brought me to tears and I think what she is doing for other people is amazing. Alot of people complain that there are so many people here that are suffering too and they think that it is wrong what she does, but they help here too, they have donated so much to Hurricane Katrina victims as well and they were there to help with that. So i think its great that they have the means to do this, and they are putting their fame towards good causes.

I saw Angelina on your show last night. I really admire her for her kind heart in helping the unfortunate. I was one of those children myself. Without the good heart of people like her. Me my families would have died a long time ago. Thank you to all who have helped the refugee people.

What an amazing woman, and such an inspiration. She's so wise to introduce her kids to the plight of kids around the world. A program to reach out to kids around the world from kids here could be so incredibly beneficial to all involved.

Oh please. Whatever she says cannot be taken seriously. This is a woman that shut down an entire country's borders to have a child. Pretensious much??? I say she suffers from a serious case of delusions of grandeur. She needs to stick to acting and putting her children in tabloid magazines and leave poliiticking to the politicians.

Angelina is truely the Ambassador for the world. I hope countries across the world embrace the ideas she shares. I understand that our own country is not in tip top shape. But I'm really tired of hearing the bitterness of our own spoiled youth. Our children need to be aware of the world around them, because as we teach our children, we in turn learn as well. One day I hope we're all better people.

I am so inspired. She is loving her neighbours as herself a God given charter. I thank God for her; there are many around the world who sees her as their angel and i can relate to that. It's a great feeling knowing that there is someone out there that cares.

The famous activists have the power to push their causes, drawing attention to issues of civil society in which people tend to be indifferent.

As Peter Gabriel said, co-founder of the Witness NGO, it is easier to ignore the speech of Kofi Annan, former UN secretary general, than the emotional appeals of actress Angelina Jolie.

Good that there is Angelina Jolie to do speeches excited and draw attention of people for such social causes.

The show was great. I was so touched by her stories and her inspiration. She has such a big heart. I don't care that she is celebrity but what she is doing is beyond the words. If our human race had a little bit of passion like she does we would have a safer and happier place to live. I watched her video plea through National Geographic on facebook and was so ashamed with people that left their comments there. I just can't believe that there are so many without any trace of humanity. I wish that they and their families never encounter anything similar because a lot of them would be chocking on their words. Unbelievable!!!! Thumbs up for Angelina Jolie and her efforts to help as many in need. Thank you.

As a society we do have a moral obligation to help those in need. But, at what cost? People of our country are putting too much effort into the needs of those of other nations. Our culture needs to look in the mirror. We need improved education for our children. Parents need to become more responsible for their actions in pro-creation.

When a child is fed or a family is housed nobody cares if the money came from the USA or Russia, from a celebrity's charity or a hedge fund or someone who had a pyramid scheme. All those people care about is that their bellies are full for another day and they have shelter for another night.

Any person who disparages the work of the Jolie-Pitt fund is simply not thinking (or doesn't care) about the real fact, that someone somewhere is relieved of suffering. The Jolie-Pitts have plenty of domestic projects including housing in post hurricane New Orleans, a place that has been mostly forgotten. But what they do for the citizens of war torn regions makes a difference and if you criticize them, than plain and simple, you do not care. You do not care about other people in your species. You do not care about children. You do not care about starving people being fed. You do not care about homeless people being sheltered. You are a xenophone and a small hearted soul. There is no excuse for ANY vitriol against the Jolie-Pitt fund. I ask those who speak out against it in this blog: What have you done lately for others? My guess: NADA.

I think Angelina is a beautiful and strong woman that inspires others. She and Brad Pitt are doing the very best they can to raise their children amidst the glare of paparazzi and lies from gossip mongers. Above all of that, she manages to be a real human being caring about others that are suffering around the world. A perfect ambassador and an example for all of us.

Last night's program on the issue of refugees is very good because it shed light on a humanitarian issue that does not get much recognition since there are so many other problems that are dominating the news these days. I am glad that A. Jolie can bring both attention and money to this important and kudos to those workers from World Vision for the great work on a daily basis!

It was a nice interview last night with Angelina. She came across as a real person who loves to help others. It was good to see her without her runaway attire and makeup on. She is a beautiful woman.

She was on the Today Show this morning with Ann Curry and something she said was really remarkable. To paraphrase, she said that if she was raised with more global knowledge she would have been less self-destructive in her high school years. She hoped to raise her children travelling with her and sharing her charitable work.

Oh, yes, she plans on adding more children to her family! This is the happiest she has been in her life!
