Special to CNN

The first hundred days is barely over and the Republican primaries for 2012 have begun.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty has announced he won't seek a third term, immediately stirring speculation that he is preparing to run for president.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has been delivering speeches on many key issues, ranging from national security to tax cuts, keeping himself in the public eye.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich called Judge Sonia Sotomayor, a "reverse racist." This is one of many statements that he has been making in recent months to define his agenda and position himself as a leading candidate in the Republican Party. He then backtracked from his original statement which had not played well in the press or politically.

Can it get anyworse than Obama?

apparently yes.

Palin, Gingrich, Romney are all fake conservatives. Fake.

This country keeps throwing up names such as these people that shouldn't run for president.

I dont know, the way Obama is taking control of everything. The elections are up fro grabs, thats if we do have have elections. Who knows. Obama might become the Chancellor of the United States.

Karen I hope he becomes King of America because every other president used America like a cheap whore, I dont know why people praise Reagan and Reaganomics did exactly what the 2nd Bush's leadership did, The 1st bush took us to war and racked up the national debt, the only respectable Pres. was Clinton but he did something not so respectful but he did gives us surpluses, Obama has most if not all of Clintons staff so we should look forward to our economy being fixed, Repubs did the same thing there doing now when clinton was president and we got a surplus.

people (repubs) use your brains Obama plans are going to work and if you dont get on board the people you represent are going to see you had no vision when the reform of America works and they will know who's right for America when they go to elect there leaders.

I would like to know where the polls come from that says President Obama is still at 60% approval rating. They must only talk to the people they gave the 10 dollars to to vote for him.
Who are the idiots who think he is god? He will be running for dictator if these people have a say. Unlike you left, I do not hate President Obama, I pray for him every day. I pray he will become a Christian and forget his Muslim religion.

Lamont: Unlike you I choose to give people the benefit of the doubt. Obama really hasn't shown me anything, except now my grandkids are in debt up to their eyeballs. But, I will wait and see what he has up his sleeve. You on the other hand tend to judge someone after only seeing her (Gov. Palin) in the public eye for less then ten weeks. And continue to do so every chance you get. I really can't understand how all of you Obama supporters can expect any one to give him a chance, when the only things coming out of most of your mouths are Hate-filled and Fear-mongering remarks.

California is run by a republican this is what we will look forward to when they run for Pres in 2012. California is a mess because of greed and thats what the republicans represent. The United States will be laughed at because they will be known for being stupid if these idiots get in office. Somebody need to tell Palin that McCain lost because of her nomination.

The Republicans are done... their base is intolerant and narrow minded. Good...they finally got what they deserved. They pondered to the ultra conservatives and evangelicals long enough just to find out that even their Republican "leaders"(other than Rush and Hannity) aren't conservative enough for those fanatics. Palin and Gingrich don't stand a chance, yet I'd like to see Palin run for mere entertainment value. I think Arlen Specter should be the guy for the GOP...he's cool and collected and his IQ qualifies him

RL Wellman...I love President Obama and I did not pay a dime to his campaign. I think judging people based on religious ideologies is a terrible thing. The mess were in today is because God supposedly spoke directly to George W. Bush, but he gave him no guidance after~LOL.

It seems to me as Moses was instructed by God to lead the people to the promise land, that maybe Obama has been instructed by God to promote diplomacy and peace around the world, we don't know and may never know that's between him and God. However, bringing people together for the common good of all and working well with others use to be considered a good thing. What happened to our country that someone like Sarah Palin is still in the news? Totally ridiculous and so are her followers...those individuals are a can short of a Joe six pack.
