You thought that our children should be the first to get help from the government?

I agree with Rose from California about you take care of home first. The climate has changed when help is needed for Americans. We're the last to receive any assistance in a crisis. Just alot of shuffling papers and you wait and wait for a response. Government no longer moves fast enough to keep up the rapid changes that are going on in people's lives. Too quick to say we'll recover. Children are caught in the middle. And Adults are just trying to hold everything together one day at a time.

There's more to this story...instead of the "whoa is me"....we argued and I left. Typical CNN social spin.

I think that's horrible; why don't more teenagers become responsible for volunteer work. Is that usually possible in their community?
