I have a question...Im traveling to Mexico next week and my employer has told me that I will not be allowed to return to work until I have been home for 7 days and am symptom free from the swine flu. The CDC is recommending going about your normal routine upon your return from Mexico if you are symptom free, is it legal for my employer to not allow me to return to work?

Just a strange observation on the flu, I was watching a news story about a job fair, and the seekers felt they had to shake hands with the employers to seem professional. There were about 100 people there using hand sanitizer before and after shaking hands, and all I could think is it looked like a "Monk" convention. Life imitates art. Cat

I booked a vacation to Cancun Mexico for the first week of June. Do you think in a months time, the swine flu will be any weaker in Mexico? Should I keep my vacation as planned or should I postpone the trip? Have there been any flu cases reported at the resorts in Cancun? What precautions should I take, if I go ahead with my vacation as planned?

Thank you
