Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

    Anderson,
Until the housing market crisis stablizes we will not see the light of day.

So what do they give us the people who bought homes within our means? Do we get any perks? Or is this just for those over spenders?

Seems to me the people who have been the most responsible are going to be left out of the benefits of the stimulus while being handed the bill. I hope this gets addressed somehow.

Well I wasn't overextended a couple of years ago but I am now! Money is down and cost of living is up. Pretty simple math. I didn't start out over my head!

I knew this would happen! They are going to end up helping those people who over extended their funds and those who did the right thing will have to just deal with it!

This country really needs a wakeup call!

I can't believe you are not talking about Obama's trip to Canada. We are going crazy about it. He is so charming.

This whole mentality of those who don't need help being upset about having to help out people who are suffering is deplorable. This country needs to work together to get the economy back on course. The "it's all about me" position does not belong here.

I am curious if anyone can tell me why we haven't called for all the Senaters to be audited with all the public servants who just haven't paid taxes?
If we did not pay our taxes we would be in jail...

Hi everyonw. I have one gripe. Why talkng heads on TV complain about housing bail out and auto workers making 50 dollars per hrs wages but approve bail out for Wall Street bonuses. I would prefer if we pay good worker to build my car then giving bonuses to Wall Street for loosing my retirement money.

I still wonder how you measure a 'saved' job. I also wonder how you tell what is natural recovery, and what is due to the stimulus.

Hey, everyone! Well, thanks to the state of the economy, I now think I'm suffering from Numerophobia (which is what it sounds like, a fear of numbers). The Dow's numbers are really ghastly. And if it's not the stock market's numbers, it's the various bailout amounts or the Ponzi scammers. It's too much!

    February 19, 2009 at 10:00 pm |
  45. Cindy

Evening Anderson and all! Hope we have another great show tonight.

Man...the stock market took a nose dive for sure today! That was brutal!

Glad that they caught "Mini-Madoff"! I just can't see how these men can pull such big schemes. There has to be people on the inside working with them. There has to be for them not to get caught by the SEC!!
