I am just smiling

Finally, Blogoyevich is impeached. I am not laughing at those who sincerely thought he would do the honourable thing as I have held those same expectations of more than one narcissist. I am glad this piece of business has begun.

As for Burris, please....of course he knew the maelstrom he would create and loves every minute of it. The man has been in Illinois politics for years and claws his way to publicity. It was Burris, himself, that called it Theatre and he finally gets his 15 minutes in the sun. It still makes me sick when you report that Blogoyevich has been so shrewd. Its not funny, its just kind of sad. When did being dishonourable become shewd and a good thing?...

Shame on you.

I have a question, what does President elect Obama mean by, he does not need any reports on ideolgies that need to go away. He is right to a certain extent however, their are a certain group of people who say that President elect Obama is going to take care of everything, he has it all under control. Comments such as these and actions of some are boastful, and I am confused about the lack of concern where these words and others words and actions might lead. I know I am concerned. I also know that applying for jobs, I can be of help in directing people, especially those with degrees in opening their minds into different avenues to look for employment. However, while there are a variety of directions to go in, I have only began my own job search again in these areas and I have not been given the opportunity to assist these people and others myself. The forgotten poorhouses and buying (whites) themselves out of slavery has been forgotten Annie Oakley was one of such people. Remember I am white and graduated from a historically black college and have heard about the lack of concern about others, other than themselves also.

Obama, he got somuch to do where did he find the time to be on Spider-man comics. To many people he is more like an actor than President. Is he really an actor because he seems to be everywhere in every paper and magazine. The cameras follow him.

Thank you,
Toronto, Canada

does anyone know why the cost of college textbooks are so high? would providing paperback versions be cheaper? and what happens to all the old textbooks---are they adding to the landfill or is someone recycling them? could all school textbooks be paperback so they would be lighter to carry--and cheaper to buy?
