Why are republicans and the media so intiminated by the success of President-elect Obama's campaign and soon to be presidency? Are they so jaded by what has been demonstrated to them by pass failed Republican presidencies and administration that that they can believe that there really are highly intelligent, African American men in this country that can run this country better than past white administrations? What is so hard to believe about that? Instead of Anderson Cooper and the rest of mainstream media, with a few exceptions, starting up with their daily bashings of how it is virtually impossible for Obama to succeed, why don't you all sit down and write a book about how you've allowed Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and the entire Bush administration take you to that bridge to nowhere that Sarah Palin speaks so highly of. Obama didn't win this election because all the African Americans and young people decided to vote this time. He did not win this election because he had more money that McCain. He did not win this election because of any speech he has given. He did not win this election because people around the world that had become hostile towards the U.S. in recent years, cheered him on. He won this election because people, both Black and White are sick and tired of being the last one at the dinner to be feed. It's as simple as that. This is the first time in any election I have ever heard the word "trust" so much. Working class folks have had to trust our elected officials for years. Now it's your turn and you question if Obama's trust? Well, if you can trust and still do trust that would have privatized your social security, continues to steal large sums of money from trusted tax payers and continues to have huge job losses month after month, then trusting Obama should be a cinch and certainly never doubtful. Remember, Repubs you were willing to make Sarah Palin the vice president over Joe Biden! It's time for you all to regroup, if you can stop fighting among yourselves long enough and making it public, and start admitting why this party if failing and not necessarily due to this race. The GOP has an inheritance of dishonest rhetoric and diviseness that they are unwilling or wish not to shake. However, times are changing and if the GOP believe people like Sarah Palin can get votes, then what happens when and if she really had to govern? She wouldn't have a clue.

President-elect Obama is going to change how we do buisness, believe it or not, and instead of trying to second guess his intelligence, why not wish him success. After all, his success is yours as well.

Dear Lampe & Jay!

Get over it, you can't get a Presidential Sarah Palin mug, and thank goodness for that! After the failed policies and administration of this republican regime, you want the country to have more years of failure? Sarah Palin knows about as much about running the country as she knows where Africa is!! She is divisive, not inclusive. I am a progressive liberal that is open and embracing to everyone, but I could not even find any qualities that would enable Sarah Palin to be president. I am impressed by the intelligence and education of a national leader. Governor Palin appears to be lacking in both. Did she graduate from an ivy league college-no she didn't! It has been a tradition that our national leaders are well educated, not ignorant and undereducated! The job requires a brilliant mind, and look what has happened as we have fallen away from that marker! Frankly, with a John McCain presidency it was a good chance Sarah Palin would be president-please stop me from gagging!

I emailed the Obama campaign over a month ago asking when they would have that mug in stock again.

I didn't want all of the other cheesy coffee mugs on the market. This was the original one they had on the site. I wanted that specific one. It better not be broken when it arrives in the mail.

Now if 360 would actually make a coffee mug that is pretty and nice looking like this one - I might invest in it. (not that boring "CNN" mug I see them drinking from so often) I told them months ago they should make one, but nobody listens to me.

OK ,I got it you care.Good.
What I want to know from you is why you care?
1) Because he is alleged to have committed a murder, or
2) Beacuase he is gay.
If 1, that's fine as far as it goes, if 2, shame on you, because most murders are done by hetrosexuals which is not surprising as they are the majorityof the populace.
QED if you are to be fair and objective when a hetrosexual commits a murder you have to say so and if you do not the fact that a gay commits a murder then his sexual proclivity being mentioned is discrimination to which I at least object.
PS I am not gay. Just in case you think I am biased!. ( I'll sue anyone who says I am..half joking of course.)
Regards,
Hodgson.

Betty Ann: I am with you only I think it's a waste of a good coffee mug, to put Obama's name on it. Hasn't that man made enough money of the American People. And, if he is going to use it for his big Party on Jan 20th 2009,I hope all the people get really made at him spending all that money, when people go hungry everyday. After all, isn't he supposed to be for the poor, and homeless, and everybody else?

Ain't capitalism great? We have coffee mugs, coins, tee shirts, and whatever else will bring that almighty dollar. Our country is going down because Americans are more interested in making a dollar at anyone else's expense and helping everyone in the world but their own. Like it says in Galatians 6,7: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

If I were an employed person, I'd get 2 of them, but I understand I cannot splurge at this time. However, if Anderson or anyone on the 360 staff wants to get me one - I'd be ok with that.
