Miles O'Brien talks with SETI scientists and planet hunters about the signs of life beyond Earth.
I wonder what that would sound like, listening to life in space from a headset connected to a disc in a desert – I always thought it might be something like being underwater in the ocean and listening to a coral reef – it has a sound, it's not mechanical – but it almost is, in a random sort of way, something like how popcorn sounds in various stages of cooking – and these discs in the desert look kinda like giant jiffy pop pans without the handle. Thanks for a fasinating report! I hope we discover something cool, like the secret to peace, or the cure for cancer or aids.
This could be a good thing. And we can all thank the same creator.
All the best~
