There are reports that fmr Prez Bill Clinton has agreed to release information related to any future business or charitable activities on his end, apparently to give wife Hilllary a better shot at becoming Secretary of State.

His financial ties became an issue during her presidential run and now he may not want to cramp her style if she does indeed seek the cabinet post of Secretary of State.

Meanwhile, it looks like Eric Holder, (Clinton’s deputy Attorney General at the time of his presidency) is still being vetted but has indicated he will accept the job of Attorney General under an Obama Administraion. He would be America’s 1st African American in this role.

Some critics note that Prez Elect Obama ran a campaign on the message of ‘change’, but his Administration is looking like the Clinton Administration Part 2. More than half the people named to Obama's transition or staff posts have ties to the Clinton Administration, and Rahm Emanuel is another former Clinton adviser, currently Obama’s WH Chief of Staff.

Do you think Obama should widen his search? Or is choosing former dems w/experience in an administration the best way to go?

The CEO’s of the Big 3 automakers are on Capital Hill again today-but it looks like plans for a bailout are stalling. Even though they are begging for billions, blaming the economy, and telling folks the US Economy is at stake if they don’t receive dough, many in Congress blame years of mismanagement and are receiving their testimony with healthy skepticism.

Many of you keep asking: Where is MY bailout? Ali Velshi will have the latest on this story tonight.

A purported message from al Qaeda's deputy leader posted on Islamist Web sites on Wednesday told President-elect Barack Obama that "a heavy legacy of failure and crimes awaits you."

Ayman al-Zawahiri, al Qaeda's deputy leader called Obama a derogatory racial term and indicatedthat Obama is the direct opposite of honorable black Americans like Malcolm X. We may ask Peter Bergen to offer more on this tonight, or at least to post a blog so you can be on the look out for that.

Some other stories swirling, more pirate attacks on the high seas near the Horn of Africa! Just who are these pirates and what are they after? We may assign a reporter to this story tonight. We are also looking at a law in Nebraska which includes a loophole allowing parents to abandon their kids (some of them teenagers). We’ll tell you why and how.

Joe Johns will take a look at President Bush’s last minute appointments/actions to protect his supporters and/or issues in the last days of his Presidency before Obama takes over. That's where we start- See you at 10pet!

I think all Heck is going to reign loose on Obama after inauguration. He will be tested for sure. Too many Clinton holdovers. I'm sure there are plenty of qualified non Clinton people out there. We had 12 years of Bush's and 8 years of Clintons. We need some new blood, not just at the top of 3 branches but all over. Change shouldn't mean change the current to the past, but rather Change with new talent and new ideas.

I am sure that Bill Clinton would have no problem in being open about his donations to his charity to insure that Hillary gets the Sec of State job. He has nothing to hide. I knew all along that he would.

And it does seem to me that Obama is becoming or trying to become Bill Clinton 2. I guess he's using the same people as Bill because Bill had a great run as pres. But Obama does need to bring in some reps like he said he was going to to try to be bipartisan.

I knew that al Qaeda would eventually put out a derogatory remark towards Obama. I didn't think it'd be that racially charged though! But hey...what do you expect...they are terrorists who hate us. Can't wait to hear from Peter Bergen and see what he has to say on this.

And can I say that I was SO glad to see other reports on 360 last night besides politics! Honestly though I gotta say hour two was so much better than hour one because it had the arson case, the case of the 8 yr old and the heroes thing. I wish that you all would reconsider and do these stories all in hour one!

I smell fear coming from the AL QUADA camp. Seems to me that the new elect president Barack Obama has got Al Quata on the defensive already. Al Quata fear Obama because they know they are dealing with a leader with intelligence as oppose to a leader with blind folds on.

Canadians for Obama:)

Clinton was known to want the best and brightest in his administration and Obama wants the same – so it doesn't surprise me that some of Obama's selections come from the Clinton administration. Most of these people were junior staffers then and learning the ropes. Now they get to step up and use the intelligence and experience they gained under Clinton and other jobs to help Obama in his administration. If we dismiss these people as not being representative of change then we are saying that people can't change – that would include us.

Look, Obama didn't lose the election by hand picking the WRONG people.
So what if some of his choices are from the Clinton years, if memory serves correct, those were some pretty good years and it has become evident the support staff from then has been seasoned and are plenty ready to cultivate the "Change" we so desperately need.

I think during a time of war Obama cant afford to hire anyone who doesnt have experience. The important thing is that he is looking at both sides so there will be a balance.

The new Presidental elect has something up his sleeve already for the alqeda terrorists.Obama 's interesting choices have directed form the Clinton adminstration which is based on his sucessful ecomomy surplus .This is his efectivce waty to get out from under the global financial crisis. There's nothing wrong with Obama choosing people from the Clinton Administration if they're smart people or people who give him a different point of view. Besides, there's no point clinging to the concept of "change" if it only brings in incompetence.

Then again he could have just been watching re-runs of "The West Wing."

Michelle   November 19th, 2008 11:37 am ET

Obama is right to hire people who can perform at the top of their game.
Newsflash : America is in crisis. These are serious times for our country
and the world. The change will be the way Obama governs as well
as the policies of his administration. He has already changed the
way a president will communicate with the American public. His
youtube channel is the most subscribed. Sometimes I think tv
news just does not get it. The world has changed and the American
public wants Obama to succeed.
