Speaking of the football game we had this interesting tidbit going around the office today which I thought was interesting!

When I was first married eons ago we lived in a house that was built before the Civil War and it was haunted. I could hear them walking around; one night I woke up to the piano playing spiritual music – playing it loudly and well – No one in the house but me, my 2 month old baby, and my spouse who was snoring loudly. Talk about creepy – I went down the stairs to see just what was going on and was immediately sorry I did – when I got to the doorway where I could see the piano it stopped playing. Then the sounds of footsteps and creaking boards in the floor started towards me – I was frozen to the spot until the footsteps were about half way across the room and then I bolted upstairs to wake my spouse. He told me I dreamed it.....maybe but it sure felt like I was awake and I still think I was. Creepy.

I may be in the minority, but I love squirrels. There's always a few in my back yard and every so often, I give them corn and peanuts.

I already voted for a CNN hero. It was hard to choose because they all deserved it. I wish they could all win.

Erica, I had no idea you believed in ghosts. I personally don't, but I think that's very interesting that you do.: ) As for not having candy on Halloween, I must say I might be guilty of that today- unless Halloween themed cupcakes suffice.; ) Hope your Halloween is going well, Erica.: )

I used to not believe in ghosts, but when I was a teen, I started noticing these wierd white marks and lights in my photos. I used to try to rationalize that there was something wrong with the cameras (this happened to more than one), lighting, film, or film developing. It was only after I researched these odd images that I found out it is likely to be "paranormal"– yikes!!

A few years ago, I purchased my first digital camera and (I know this sounds crazy and/or hokey) before I opened the box, I requested (outloud) that "whoever is putting the paranormal images on my pictures to please stop, because I don't like it." Since then, I have never had any problems with any pictures from any of my cameras (film and digital).

I also don't like Quija boards, they scare me. In my opinion, using a Quija board is the same as leaving the door to your home for anyone to enter at free will. I find it mind boggling that this "game" is still being sold! Personally, I have never used one and never will.

I'll tell you what is scary.
I was watching the opening of John McCains rally this evening on Cnn with the Governor of California. I am absolutly disgusted at the way he made remarks about Senator OBama's arms,legs and such. The people in America deserve better than this type of terrible trash talk. And i see John McCain was just going along with it hoping the smear machine worked up the crowd. Not all in that audience liked what they were hearing from what we could see.
My Question is if John McCain is elected President will he consider laughing at all the different people under his care just because they are thin , a little over weight or maybe people with disabilities. I guess if you are not just like him you are considered a joke.
Shame on Arnold and even more shame on McCain.

Well to each his own but while I know the shortcomings of the current generation I'd rather not see the shortcomings of my fellow voter. Besides I'd have to put blinders on my old man to keep him from gaping and running into walls.

Happy Halloween! I love you guys, but I'm tired of the election and have found channels with no political commercials. I'll be back when this is all over. As an Eagle fan, I hope the Steelers crush the Redskins. My husband is from Pgh and it will also make him easier to live with. My first trick or treater was Sarah Palin. She and all of the others were adorable. Sorry, no ghosts, but I did wear my witches' hat! Hope you all have a great week-end! Voting early has zapped my interest in the outcome!

I live in Pa. And I am a hugh Steelers Fan, but this is one time I will pray for a loss, if it means Obama will win.
