In an exclusive one-on-one interview with The Brody File, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says she would have no problem using the "palling around with terrorist" line again when describing Barack Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers.

Brody: Are you okay with the "pal around with terrorist line?" Or you want to rein that back a little?

Palin: No I would say it again, I would say it again because again it, it, according to the information that we have, the association that he's had with Bill Ayers wasn't just one or two time sitting on a board together where, No, there's been quite a few associations and events and meetings and discussion and emails and calls and to not disavow that too, I think is troubling.

I think Sarah Palin is acting like a cat in distress! She and the McCain camp will say anything to come from behind and win this election. They don’t seem to understand that the American people could care less about Ayers if he was never sent to jail and it’s currently a good citizen, why then do they have to use the past, Barak was only 8 years old for God sake and after they coincided in meetings it was only that.

I believe she will be the reason McCain is scheduled to loose this election. Love the way she dresses, as a woman I do look at these things you know, she seems to have class for dressing for she is not ready for anything beyond being Alaska’s gov!!

Palin shouldn't regret her "palling around with terrorists" line. It is the truth! Ayers blew up buildings and such and said he'd wished that he'd done way more. Isn't that what a terrorist says and does?

And Obama did hang with him for a while and still does although he tries to lie about his association with Ayers. But we all know the truth.

Gov Palin give it a REST. I have yet to hear her discuss how is she going to help us overcome this economic crisis we are in now. As a self-proclaimed CHRISTIAN; there is no CHRIST-LIKE characters of her showing since she was elevated to be VP for John McCain. She is definately the "attack dog" for the campaign.

CNN please do a feature regarding articles I read about voters going to the poll having the voting machine changing their vote from Democrat to Republican. This is not an isolated incident. I believe this is happening and it is is FRAUD !!!

It really hurts my eyes to read any of the transcripts from Palin interviews and hurts my ears to hear her speak. You can really tell that she is not comfortable with explaining her statements. Someone with such a narrow vision usually does.

I would like to know about her association with that group that her husband was link too. I had heard some of it on Saturday night live, or one of those night talk shows. What I had heard I didnt't like, when they said she talk to them at one of their rallies, and said she supported them. I tell you why don't you bring up her association with them. It was terrible, what they said, about American's. So it they want to continue to bring up this please bring up that so people can be aware of that as well.

Sarah Palin belonged to an organiztion, that wanted Alaska to secede from the union. Both she and her husband are quoted as saying, ant- American sentiments and irresponsible views. She is a born again liar!
Today, my young neighbor is preparing to leave George Bush's war. It is her third mission. She and her husband, who is returning from Iraq, will see each other for about twelve hours. This is his third mission as well. If there were justicde in this world, Palin would be dressed in fatigus and packing for war. She would ost likely enjoy the killing. Only problem, these wolves are armed,
Everytime I hear Palin's pathic attempt at rightousness, why does she not, speak about things that matter? The war? The economy? Job losses? Education? Medical care?
I will answer my own question! Neither Palin or McCain have anything to offer. The are asking you, not to pay attention, to the man behind the curtain. I am hoping Palin will click her heels and go back to Alaska. And she can take the first dud with her.

I wish the media would distinguish between "ads that criticize" from "attack ads". I do not have a problem with ads that factually disclose the position of the opposition in a negative light; I do have a problem with the "Bill Ayers", "terrorist" type ads.

I'm just disgusted by these "so called christians" . One campaign spreads hope and unity while the other is spreading hate and fear. And the hate and fear is suppose the moral party. WHAT??? I knew racist were out there, I even work with a few, but to be so bold and outspoken about it is beyond my comprehension. Do they not believe that God created african-americans also or what. If God looks down upon these two campaigns, which do you think he would approve of ?

No! Palin can’t say that she regrets her remarks after two weeks of saying them. By the way, I love it when people say stuff like this, or say Obama would not be where he is if he were not Black. That means, they are not giving him serious credit for his message, knowledge, and positions that resonates with many Americans. That underestimation of Obama’s true virtues will make him win, because they are fighting against him based on the wrong quality. If they can’t see past race, then they can’t fight his true strength. So keep on attacking this smart man and continue to ignore has true strengths.

Palin's "palling around with terrorists" line is certainly not the truth and a great length from it! If she believes it is so true – why doesn't she prove it?

She's been using the line now for weeks without proof! I'd like to see Obama or Biden try a line like that on McCain or Palin without proving it! We'd be hearing about it non stop! Double Standards! McCain and Palin's whole Campaign is one of Lies. Apparently it's all they have left or they'd be using facts or maybe even talking about the Economy the largest issue at hand! Oh, but I forgot, they're losing and they're only interested in tearing down their opponent!

The McCain-Palin camp has gone into "toss the kitchen sink along with Joe the Plumber" mode. Among the cyclone of misinformation being hurled at the public is the premise that the source of the message is credible. I chuckled when I heard Mel Martinez comment about economic policies in Cuba having anything to do with US politics and the economy here at home. As one Cuban-American to another, I can tell you that the only real politics in Cuba are the politics of hunger and rabid, say-anything, do-anything propaganda—sound a bit familiar? Toss around more of those robocalls. As for socialism, please pay a visit to the current Repulican administration who is buying out the banking industry. At the end of the day, the only real questions worth asking are: Can we stomach another 4 years of the same failed policies that have led us to this moral, economic, and energy debacle? Do most Americans want to keep moving to the right of RIGHT, and into Orwelian territory? Can we bring democracy to the world while foregoing it here? I think those are the real questions.

Colin Powell is very well respected here in the USA and throughout the world. He would NEVER have endorsed Barack Obama if he was palling around with terrorists!!

By the way, that is very admirable that your son is now serving in Iraq, Sarah. God bless all our troops and keep them safe!! It has been said that McCain has voted AGAINST veterans – sure would like to know his record. Also, would really like to hear from troops coming home from fighting so hard for us in Iraq and Afghanistan. The ones who have been wounded and if they and their families are being treated well – are they getting all the benefits they should be entitled to? Did they have all the safety equipment they needed while over there? I only heard a brief statement from McCain – that he would take care of the veterans. Really? How?

It does not surprise me that Palin would stand firm to her statement. She really believes her own hype. It's interesting how little Palin knows about domestic or world issues. Yet, she has suddenly become the voice of America. She has in two months help to divide a country which already was fragile regarding race and class. I look forward to the end of this campaign so that this lady can return to Alaska. If McCain wins Palin will probably be replaced because McCain knows she's not ready for the Whitehouse. Palin's only use was for the female vote and to "shake things up". She indeed has done that. If McCain loses Mrs. Palin will be sent back quickly without a thank you. Sarah Palin is a disappointment and a disgrace to women and America.

Isn't it strange that McCain and Palin both accuse Obama for looking to the past to lay blame...and claim that they alone look to the future! They have said it again and again at their rallies! They are the ones that are trying to bring up the past...so I guess they think they are perfect.

Please remember that Palin has recently been under investigation – and found guilty of abusing her power! This is significant...abuse of power. Palin is the type of person that will do anything to get power, she has no ethics or moral compass. She believes she is "holier than thou", but behind closed doors...she will do anything to suit her own purposes, such as using her public office to settle a family dispute...which she was found guilty of doing.

McCain and Palin are grasping at anything...and they try to drag up the past in an attempt to smear Obama – that's PATHETIC!

Maybe Sarah Palin will only reconsider her refusal to reign back her vile jab at Sen. Obama for allegedly "palling around with terrorist" only when she'd be slapped with a libel or defamation of character suit. Is that possible during elections or are they the exception to the rule?

From what I have gathered from all media genres, including the last of the presidential debate series, Obama was a mere 8 year-old when Ayres did his alleged violent acts to society.

Zoom many decades later and as fate would have it, the duo who had both become professionals by then–happened to serve on the same board with several other prominent members of the Annenberg Foundation. I understand board members are chosen and therefore, not volunteers.

Now, how would that be described as "palling around with terrorist?" This appears to me as a mere civic relationship if not a professional one–unless, of course, if the foundation has terrorist inclinations, which I understand it doesn't. In defense of himself, Obama further stated that the widowed Mrs. Annenberg ironically ended up supporting McCain in this presidential debacle.

Maybe Ms. Palin would earn more respect if only she would just zip her blabbering lipsticked mouth. To quote (or something to that effect) comedian Bill Maher during his recent appearance at CNN's Larry King Show, "It's not that the woman doesn't know...she just does not know ANYTHING!"–or according to my Southerner niece "does not know DIDDLY!"

Palin can't back-off this line of attack without looking really silly.

I want Palin to defend her husband's role in the troopergate investigation. That report makes it clear that Todd was abusing the power of HER office. He was not elected and definitely enjoys a wife in power. It is really scarey if he would be running around the white house using his new connections in that elevated capacity. Also, the Alaskan separatist organization that Todd was a member of and Gov Palin spoke to shortly after her gubernatorial election. Those people are terrorists and not so far removed in time from her as Ayers is.

Not very often that we Canadians get to feel superior to our neighbor to the south but your election has done it for us. Each time Palin opens her mouth, each time the McCain campaign spins another distortion, we feel smug. It just amazes us to think that there are folks in the USA who blindly accept such nonsence. Oh well, our 'superiority' won't last for much longer. Soon it will be back to a grudging respect when Obama wins. At least we will still have a better health care system.

I am so thankful to Colin Powell endorsing Obama and mentioning the infantile speeches of McCain and Palin...Their speeches are inciting people to act out their aggressions, and I'm afraid what it will ulitmately do. Rush Limbaugh's comments are the same: inciteful!! Powell is not racist for jumping ship, he's smart enough to think it through instead of voting strictly for someone because they have an "R" behind their name. Can't stand the arrogant ignorance out there. BTW, I'm 70 years old, female and white. I'm voting for Obama. P.S. Keep the smiling Michelle Bachman off the air. She's so busy looking at herself in the monitor, that she barely understands the questions.

What is interesting is that at this stage in the the race for the White House the race is being played by the media. I have heard this played out for the past week and a half and all it does is that if give americans a reason to crawl back into their corners and rehash old wounds. This argument does nothing for politics and does not embrace the history being made today.

Palin is not qualified to be Vice-president !!! She can read canned speeches or talking points, but when it comes to understanding what she reads, she is about " four beers short of a six pack". To use her baby , with downs syndrome, to earn political points is evident when she brings him out to large noisy crowds. I don't believe anything she says, because she is fed the information through talking points. As far as the Ayers relationship with Obama, She is making a "mountain out of a mole hill" !!! She is being used as "a mouth piece" for the McCain campaign.

I assume then that based on your argument that since Obama knows Ayers that he's a terrorist then by that same token McCain had something to do with Watergate since he associated with Liddy and Liddy was found guilty and sent to prison! This is all a smokescreen to distract us from real issues. It has all gotten so ugly and Palin should be ashamed of all her hate mongering. Everyone should vote their choice and ignore all the ugly stuff before it gets worse. We are all Americans. I think the palling around statement is ridiculous. I doubt if there is a politician alive that has not come into contact with someone controversial. At least Obama's people have not dug up all of McCains past contacts when there are serious issues.

I don't think it matters much if Obama worked with Ayers, but I do think it matters that Obama minimized it so it would not look as bad effectively misleading us with his answer. Where I live that's still called lying. And it makes me wonder what else he's told us that isn't kosher.

For years now the electorate has been apathetic about politics and elections because we were lied to by Nixon (Watergate), lied to by Clinton (Lewinsky), and lied to by Bush (GW and Iraq). The vision Obama has for America is seductive but the lies tarnish it – the truth will out someday and it would be far better and much less of a fuss if Obama just stepped up and told the truth on this stuff. I don't think honesty is too much to ask of a candidate. Maybe I'm just naive...

And I'm telling you, Friday night I went to a high school homecoming where all those girls on court were beautiful, mud riding, gun toting Christians whose moms and dads were the same. Welcome to the average America Sarah Palin touches every day who want truth and not spin and who actually expect their presidential and vice-presidential candidates to provide that honesty instead of living in delusions. Where is the change when Mcains wife can wear a dress worh more than my wife and I make in 4 years. Thats like a person who drives a hummer asking me to buy a fuel efficient automobile. As a photographer I wear a $40 outfit at work and after 24 years of doing so I am respected for my skill not my lack of wealth.
I wonder if Palin would be eager to drill in her state if they had to share the oil rebates with all the US residents?
lets see if we deregulated the roadways what would happen? I think we do need some regulation or why have a goverment.
I am fortunate to see my children grow up and not see or judge a person based on color ,they as I ,see character. A persons words and actions define their character so I will be voting for Barack.
I will pay more taxs if it has to be,but do what you say you will do with the money. No lobbyist and to special interest should get any part of it. I know Barak understands this.
Its important to remember that a flower (democracy) grows from the ground up not from the flower down. The flower is only healthy and beautiful if the roots and stems get the proper care and nutrients.
I believe Barack is the change we need, he will get my vote and our families support.

The McCain-Palin campaign didn't pick up on the "CHANGE" or "REFORM" idea until the Sen. from Illinois (Obama) continued to hammer the idea home to the American people. It was my hope that the Obama campaign would not condenscend to the level of running a "Negative" campaign (politics as usual). They almost made it through without going that route, but some of the accusations that were directed towards his camps demanded a response in kind (unfortunately). I had hoped the Obama campaign would address the accusations and continue campaigning in a "respectful/yet positive" manner. Bill Ayers has paid his debt to society (doesn't excuse him for what he did) and has moved on with his life, can not the American people accept this fact and start expecting both camps to address the things that matter most (taxes. education, alternative fuels, clean air. global warming, the morgatage crisis, most of all the economy etc).

How many people did Ayers kill? Zero. That makes him a vandal, not a terrorist. Ayers did not do any jail time in the last 40 years, and he has been an upstanding citizen of this country. He has been a respected professor at the U of I, and even was awarded Citizen of the Year in Chicago. Obama has condemned the actions of Ayers back in th 60s, and that's all that needs to be said. If Ayers really was a terrorist, why does this great country of ours let the man walk freely? Because he is not a terrorist, although McCain and staff would have people believe that terrorists lurk around every corner.

Have you read anything about Ayers and his life/story from the 60's and now?
Have you listened to Obama's explanation about Ayers?

–Be careful about believing all the Republican talking points and the conservative media.
I also have heard many things about McCain and Palin "associating" with some pretty shady characters (who could be labeled as terrorists).
I think one is skating on thin ice when he/she starts attacking someone based on flimsy associations.

Oh please Cindy...Ga. Why don't you back up your statements with some facts? You are as bad as those so called candidates....a bunch of whiners because you are all losing this election because your politics are stale; dishonest; lack integrity; and are fear-based. The American public has wised up. Stop making false blanket statements. Look at McCain and Palin....they aren't angels themselves....Obama has the grace and dignity....and INTELLIGENCE. McCain/Palin know it....You know it.... You and your party are trying to make it out like Obama has a long, enmeshed relationship with this dude. He DOESN'T and WAKE UP....nobody but you and your sinking ship cares. You know why? Because we have a failing system in all spheres. That is why people are for Obama...he cares about the REAL issues and has managed to stay focused in spite of McCain/Palin's sophomoric attempts to take his campaign down. That is what this country is hungry for and Obama has delivered and will continue to deliver when he is the President of the United States!

When will this woman talk about her ideas for solutions to our multitude of problems and not just non-intellectual stuff?? She won't because she has demonstrated she doesn't have sufficient knowledge of any issue on the table. And for these people to say her experience trumps Obama's so it's ok for her to be running is ridiculous. Obama has the educational background, leadership, presidential type intellect and communication skills necessary for the position of the presidency. She is better served on SNL.

I am not at all surprised that she would say it again. This is the same woman who told the media that she had been exonerated in Alaska regarding her abuse of power as Governor; we all know that was a lie. The McCain – Palin ticket have no conscience at all when it comes to politics, they feel that the end will justify the means. I was an undecided voter – Mrs. Palin and the negative campaign have helped me make my decision.

Being a Christian, as she is, has anyone counted how many times Palin broke the commandment "Thou shalt not bare false witness" And investors to wall street " You should not cast your pearls before swine, least they be trampled". "greed' "gluttony" should I go on... Na! ok one more "do on to others as you would have them do to you." Thanks for letting me vent. :)

The old adage applies here. Given enough rope ,she will hang herself. She is a perfect example of someone who can dish it out but can't take it. She can harp incessantly on something that will incite the Republican 'base', but responds petulantly when she perceives an insult, for example to her own faith. If you can dish it out, you ought to be able to take it.

Maybe her appearance on SNL will excite her to follow her true calling, drama. She is a star all right, I just don't want her to be a star in Washington for all our sake.

When Gov. Palin said that Obama had more than a casual acquaintance with Bill Ayers. And that Obama had phone conversations with "a known terrorist." What was she suggesting ? Was she implying that Obama was talking over terrorist plots with Ayers? Maybe the overthrow of the American government.?

Gov. Pallin is an adult what I want to know as an adult does she ever think before she speaks. If you shout fire in a crowded building and cause a stamped you are held responsible. If after this election any harm come to anyone, regardless of the so call fringe element, is on her.

She has the right to say "No I am not going to say this or that because it will cause divide our country or drive away voters." That is part of standing up to your party. Look at all the hate towards her and Obama that has been stirred up in recent weeks.

The preamble to the US Constitution

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

"We the People", regardless of class, race, religion
"form a more perfect union" – united for the country we live in
"establish justice" – equal justice under the law
"insure domestic Tranquility" – The peace of the country is above personal gain
"Provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty and our Posterity" – For ALL people, not the privileged few.

Would any of us feel comfortable with any of our loved ones palling around with Ayers, Rezco, or Wright? NO!!! None of us would so why is it ok for our next President. WAKE UP SHEEP! Obama isn’t the saint you think he is
