Over the last months, I have literally told my friends that I love David Gergen! His measured responses, intelligent and bipartisan response to issues, his kindness! Amazing grace.

Add me to the list of not-so-secret-admirers. I have been smitten ever since I heard Mr G speak in DC during the Clinton years. Agree with all the accolades above. Especially loved the comment after the debate when asked what McCain should do now: "beats the hell out of me." Agree with those who say he would be perfect for Meet the Press. Kudos to Jessi for giving words to the phenomenon and to Anderson for making it widely known. Also, a shout-out to Candy - those two are the best and I often wish we could hear more from them!

I think David is really astute when it comes to politics. Whoever wins the Presidency should hire him and I really am hoping that it is Senator Obama. You know that his opinion is unbaised and real.

No, no I AM David's first admirer. I am so glad I caught this last night because I told my husband a month ago there was something about David Gergen! I get so excited to see him after the debates because his voice is so dreamy. He needs a talk show all to himself for us lucky women:)

I loved this piece...it was priceless seeing David squirm in his char! And, I must agree, David has the most calming voice and demeanor–I love that man....Ok, I admit that even my husband has a 'man-crush' on him! Go Jesse Klein–you've started a movement!

When communicating with my partner I do my best to emulate Mr. Gergan.

Seems like David joins the likes of Charlie Sheen, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and Colin Farrell, in the Jessi List of loves and crushes. If Obama isn't wise enough to pick Dave as his Chief of Staff, perhaps Dave can become a regular on "Law and Order" or "Boston Legal."

Me toooo, me toooo I have to agree.... David Gergens voice is absolutely velvety and very soothing... And he is always "cool as a cucumber" under any circumstances and in any however heated discussion...!!!!! Love his voice, but my heart belongs to Anderson....:))

The reason why so many of you people "love" Mr. Gergen is because he is now "in the tank" for the liberal media. He didn't used to be–and I used to listen carefully and tended trust what he said-NO LONGER. I am sooo disappointed he can no longer be an independent and unbiased thinker.

I loved this segment of the show last night – it was great to see Anderson surprise someone else rather than be the surprised one. Good going Anderson! And by the way, I love Gerg too but Begala is at the top of my list!

Probably the number one reason why I watch CNN is David Gergen. He's probably the best analyst on television right now and truly offers guidance like none other. CNN is lucky to have him on board.
