The campaign trail…and other stories on our radar:

ON THE TRAIL: Sen. Obama is in Roanoke, VA where he’ll have a rally in the afternoon.  Sen. McCain starts the day in New York City before heading to Florida.  He’ll attend a rally in Melbourne, FL in the evening.  Sen. Biden has rallies in Mesilla, NM and Henderson, NV.  Gov. Palin will be at rallies in West Chester, OH and Noblesville, IN.

CULPRITS OF THE COLLAPSE: We’ll have the latest culprit of the collapse.  This guy makes the top ten most wanted list for giving mortgages to people who couldn’t pay them.

BUSH TALKS ECONOMY: President Bush will speak about the economy to the US Chamber of Commerce.

TED STEVENS TRIAL: Sen. Ted Stevens, who is fighting a seven-count indictment accusing him of filing false financial forms with the Senate, took the stand in his own defense Thursday afternoon.  We’ll be watching what happens Friday.

UN SECURITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS: The United Nations General Assembly will select five non-permanent members to join the Security Council for a two year term.

the bush watch.....watch the market drop every time he speaks.

culprits of the collapse...does 360 have the balls to point the finger on regular americans who bought outside of their means? the american who said yes without reading the fine print? they didn't have to sign you know. i agree some takes teh bigger blame, like your list. but to solve the crisis, we must be honest with ourselves.

Anderson, i am a college student who is finding it very hard to pay for college and make a living as well.
my question is, why is college not fee in the USA , if we are the richest nation on earth and compare to some european countries like France, finland, holland and norway. all provide fee college education for their citizens, why not us?

I am tired of the media being so biased to Obama and would like to see it covered the right way. How come people said last night after the debates McCain did well then it changed so fast. I think McCain did better and they said the way I felt at first and then did a reversal. And why did Hillary talk right afterwards after the debates to twist the outcome all up???

the story about acorn is bogus. the republicans are trying to divert voters. this is not a great thing because some people are easily convinced. there is no acorn fraud except the one the republicans made up.
