An unwitting assist from the hockey mom

It wasn't primarily the work of Hillary Clinton, though by her count she has made more than 50 public appearances for Barack Obama. Nor was it the work of Obama, who has kept Clinton and her advisers at arm's length. No, the one who put the Hillary Clinton voters in Obama's column was John McCain - with his choice of a running mate.

"Palin - God forbid! Where did they find her?" Evelyn Fruman exclaimed Monday before a Clinton speech at a Jewish community center here.

"God forbid!" Gail Silverberg chimed in. "Hockey moms and lipstick on a pig and six-packs? I don't want that stuff."

Nearby, Rina Jampolsky was wearing a "Hillary Sent Me" button next to a pin saying "Barack Obama" in Hebrew. "I thought I wouldn't vote at all when Hillary left the race," she said. "But as soon as McCain selected Sarah Palin, my decision was made."

lampe, if you were really one who puts the Party first you would drop your grude and vote for Obama like the rest of sensible American women. They are n'ot going to vote Republican simply because they have a woman on their ticket. Get Real!

I'm an independent bi-partisan voter. While I like Obama, I am scared of his "friends" of the past. Who can object to someone being worried a bout a man who surrounds himself with such America haters (present OR past)? Meanwhile I STILL don't know who Palin is and her past with secessionists enfuriates me. I was undecided then for McCain- now TWO WEEKS to the election I'm back to undecided again!!! this is a frustrating year. It all gives me a headache. Thank God for AC 360. It's Excedrin for my soul. LOL.

Left wing feminists are an insult to the early women's movement. You support women until they don't have your agenda. It is a shame on the American woman. You preach tolerance for your place and position until someone disagrees with you. You should applaud the accomplishments of Sarah Palin. You've demonized her. She is a Governor of a state in the US. That is an accomplishment that you ignore for your own political gain. Disgusting. She has incredible approval ratings. Her state gives out checks that are from surplus, not borrowed from China. She didn't get elected through corruption or any good ole' boy network. You hate her because she is pro-life. That is your bottom line. Point your misdirected moral judgment at yourself.

Honestly, be real. Since when does being a prisoner of war and graduating at almost the bottom of your miltiary class, give you enough experience to lead our country.

McCain & Palin = Media Pfeins. He obviously chose Palin for the attention. No one would EVER in their right mind choose someone who was in charge of almost 7K people to lead a country of just about 300M people.
