O.J. Trial: Behind-the-scenes at court

Tim Hart
CNN Senior Photojournalist

Wanted to share these images from the courthouse yesterday – to give you a behind the scenes look at what it was like covering the trial:

_____________________

At most of O.J. Simpson's court dates many people with messages used the occasion to get attention from the media. But on verdict day the crowds were almost not-existent.
_____________________

Spaces on the closed street outside the Clark County Regional Justice Center were usually full for many of O.J. Simpson's court appearances. But when the case went to the jury much of the news media did not go to the courthouse leaving empty spaces.
_____________________

Simpson was tried and convicted in the Clark County Regional Justice Center's courtroom 15A, which has a view of the Las Vegas strip right outside the door. A view that was O.J. Simpson's last as a free man before he was convicted on 12 felony count Friday night.

Although there was less media covering O.J. Simpson's third trial, reporters still had to work outside of the courtroom because of space limitations.

OJ Simpson can now go hang-out with Craig Titus & Darren Mack as all three attempt to get a word in edgewise over one another regarding how they each got the "Raw Deal of the Century" from Clark County, Las Vegas.

OJ – You're more than likely headed for "High Desert State Prison" which houses violent male offenders with long sentences and/or life sentences.

Gonna be lonely for OJ in Nevada Prison (who loves & craves attention) cuz OJ was just passing through as most are when in Las Vegas. OJ's family is in California & Florida – Not an easy romp to come visit regularly. But, the family does have OJ's retirement pension from the NFL at $25,000/ monthly & untouchable to the Goldman's. OJ doesn't need that money anymore.

I guess everyone got burned out on the OJ trial last time around and this time it seemed about as interesting as the mating habits of the notorious mosquito. Sorry about the poke at mosquitoes. They're much more interesting.
